Zheng Banqiao, as one of the most influential calligraphers and painters in the "Eight Monsters of Yangzhou" in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, with his unique artistic language, formed his own unique style "Six and a Half Books", that is, "Banqiao Body", which was his own original integration, and it is also one of the few in the history of calligraphy. In this lecture, Professor Xue Yongnian will conduct a comprehensive analysis of Zheng Banqiao's calligraphy and painting art.

Xue Yongnian, male, famous art historian and art critic, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Humanities of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, distinguished professor of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, librarian of the Central Research Museum of Culture and History, ; He is a member of the State Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, the director of the Theory Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
