Liu Mingjie worshiped Mr. Sun Tianmu, the master of the Beizong Landscape, as his teacher and was a disciple of Mr. Chen Shaomei. Whether he paints rivers and lakes, paints water villages, or paints high mountains and flowing water, whether it is Linzhou East Village, or learns Ni Yunlin, he all draws them on cooked paper, all of which are ink and water.

The theme of this exhibition, "Many White Clouds on the Ridge", is inscribed by Professor Xue Yongnian, which means to keep a heart of pure Chinese landscape painting and not be moved by foreign objects.

Liu Mingjie said that the artistic conception expressed in his works is to look at the landscape in nature, and then filter through the heart to form his own state of mind. Although it is a painting of the heart, it has a certain similarity with the real mountains and real waters of nature.

Liu Mingjie said: "At present, Western painting still has an absolute right to speak in China, and the theory of using Western painting to improve Chinese painting and the idea of combining Chinese and Western painting still profoundly affect people's hearts. I did the exhibition to express a different point of view, Chinese painting does not need Western painting to improve! My paintings follow the teachings of Jin Cheng, Chen Shizeng and other predecessors: study traditions and learn new knowledge. With the traditional literati painting three masterpiece painters as the purpose, the book is included in the painting, and the poetry and Zen are included in the painting, which is self-entertainment. ”

Yang Feng, director of the China Artists Association, vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Artists Association, said in his speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition: "Liu Mingjie has a relatively in-depth study and understanding of traditional culture, and has made great efforts in traditional painting, especially the Northern School of Landscapes, which is why he has today's artistic achievements. ”

Zheng Gang, deputy director of the Theoretical Art Committee of the Shandong Artists Association, analyzed the artistic interest in Liu Mingjie's landscape paintings from the perspective of the artist's imagery and mental image, liu Mingjie's artistic creation has formed its own characteristics after many innovations, and the atmosphere in the works is elegant and far-reaching, and the meaning is rich.

The exhibition is sponsored by Shandong Rongbao Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. and Xingtu (Shandong) Internet Technology Co., Ltd., and the exhibition lasts until December 30.
