The exhibition is open to the members of the Communist Youth League of Wuhan to collect works, attracting many colleges and universities, middle school students, professional painting practitioners and amateur painting enthusiasts to actively submit articles, and the works include a variety of painting forms. In the end, 100 excellent works were selected from nearly 1,000 works for exhibition. Among the works on display, there are not only landmark landscapes in Wuhan such as the Yellow Crane Tower, the Yangtze River Bridge and the East Lake, but also the beautiful rural scenes of Wuhan's cauliflower flowers and small bridges flowing water. Through the exhibition, people can more fully understand the history and beauty of the city.

Ye Zihao, a 23-year-old who works in maintenance work at Wuhan Metro Operation Co., Ltd., hand-draws the Wuhan Metro line network map and intersperses the daily work photos of maintenance, crew and passenger transportation, he said: "This is our working state, we stick to our posts and do a good job in serving the citizens." ”

The group painting "The "Incorruptible" Festival" is eye-catching

Among the 8 group paintings in the exhibition, "The Festival of "Incorruptibility"" is particularly eye-catching. The author, Zhou Jiayi, a student at Jianghan University, selected eight solar terms from the twenty-four solar terms to record and present the annual labor of lotus farmers: ploughing the land in the spring, planting lotus roots when it was stung, turning the mud and fertilizing it when the valley rained, until the crops began to grow quietly in the summer, the lotus flowers bloomed in the summer to harvest the lotus, the mud on the lotus root was washed during the autumn equinox, the harvest was obtained at the cold dew, and the hot lotus soup was boiled at the winter solstice. The work skillfully combines the growth of "Qinglian" with the meaning of "incorruptibility", full of creativity and rich connotation. "When I saw this activity to help rural revitalization, I took the scenery of the countryside, and through creation, I hoped to bring everyone a positive, upright and incorruptible spirit, just like the green lotus out of the mud without staining, bringing aroma and harvest to everyone." Zhou Jiayi said.

While looking at the paintings, Ms. Zhou, who explained to the children, said: "Every day we will pass by here, and today I saw that there was such a rich exhibition of paintings in the subway station, so I introduced them to the children one by one. Among these works, some organically integrate the Wuhan subway with the city's landmark buildings, some show the fireworks in the streets and alleys of Wuhan, and there are poetic landscape oil paintings... The process of looking at the paintings is also the process of understanding the city. ”

It is understood that the "100 Youth Hand-painted Public Welfare Painting Exhibition to Help Rural Revitalization" will last for nearly a month.
