Because in the distance I miss a place more, yes, these years of wandering more miss the mountain that I often climb, the Yellow River that I often go, and I miss Quehua more and miss Wujiabao even more. Always awkwardly bypassing the direction of the heart to go elsewhere, just knowing that distance space is a good thing, let people breathe, let people think of the good, find a point in heaven and earth, will not fall into the simple mud, waste my home mountain. In my thoughts, I will paint some paintings, "Warm Mountain", "Mountain Temple No Monk", "July Seven" are all painted in the empty studio in the countryside, and my family mountain complex allows me to only paint the landscape I identify with, my own flowers and plants. These emotional experiences are real to me. Shy to talk about spiritual pursuits, just like the poet's words, "Don't talk about poetry, don't talk about Zen, don't talk about sorrow, morality, benevolence, and righteousness, fear of mountain spirits and laughter." Another paradox is the pursuit of fresh visual experience and exoticism in the home mountain, reinterpreting reality and aura, its additional elements are the results of so many years of walking around, prosperity is desolation, and what is worth reading may only be the imagination that is extracted.

Artist bio
Guan Puxue, a native of Weifang, Shandong. He is currently a professor and master tutor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Shandong Academy of Arts, the director of the third studio of oil painting, a visiting professor of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, and a doctoral tutor of Danguo University in South Korea. He is a member of the Oil Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association, a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the China Literary and Art Volunteer Association, the deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Artists Association, and the deputy director of the Oil Painting Art Committee of the Shandong Artists Association. Special Teacher of Public Education of Shandong Art Museum, Distinguished Teacher of Shandong Provincial Cultural Center, Art Consultant of Shandong Education Publishing House.
