Wu Dingchuan Art Museum is located on the folk culture street of Qingcheng Town, and the museum exhibits dozens of calligraphy and painting works by Mr. Wu Lao and many famous artists inside and outside the province.
Wu Dingchuan, a native of Qingcheng, Yuzhong County, Gansu Province, born in 1952, is currently a member of the China Artists Association, the vice president of the Gansu Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and a director of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association. Wu Dingchuan's Chinese painting works are mostly found in newspapers and magazines such as Fine Arts, Chinese Painters, China Painting and Calligraphy, People's Daily and other newspapers and magazines and special commentaries, and he has been selected or invited to participate in domestic and foreign exhibitions and won awards for many times, and has held personal exhibitions in Beijing, Guangzhou, Lanzhou and other places for many times, and his works have been collected by many collection institutions such as the Great Hall of the People. He has published "Selected Paintings of Flowers and Birds in Wu Dingchuan", "Collection of Flowers and Birds of Wu Dingchuan", "Collection of Fan Paintings of Flowers and Birds of Wu Dingchuan", "Collection of Freehand Flowers and Birds of Wu Dingchuan", "Anthology of Danqing yin and Wu Dingchuan Inscription Paintings" and other special collections.
For decades, he has studied Chinese painting assiduously, poured his talents and wisdom into the creation of Chinese flowers and birds, and formed his own free and condensed, simple and natural, rich and unrestrained style characteristics, which won the attention and praise of longshang painting circles.
