Sun Chenggang, also spelled Haoran, was born in 1960 in Rizhao, Shandong. Mr. Guo Shifu entered the room as a disciple. He is currently a member of the China Beauty Association, vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Artists Association, former vice chairman of the China Financial Artists Association, vice president of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting, and chairman of the Tai'an Artists Association. He is a researcher of Chinese painting at the Communication University of China, an adjunct professor at Shandong University, a visiting professor at Liaocheng University, and a visiting professor at Taishan College. He successively studied flower and bird painting from the famous Chinese painters Guo Shifu and Mr. Qin Tianzhu, and was personally taught by Tang Wenxuan, Jiang Baolin, Lang Sen, Zhao Ning'an, Zhu Tao, Wang Peidong and others.

In 2003, he was elected vice chairman of Rizhao City Artists Association and chairman of Rizhao Young Artists Association.
In 2007, he joined the China Artists Association and was elected as the first vice chairman of the China Financial Artists Association.
In 2008, he was elected as the vice chairman of the second Beauty Association of Rizhao City;
In 2011, he was elected as the second vice chairman of the China Financial Artists Association;
In 2013, he was elected as the chairman of Tai'an Artists Association. Member of the Presidium of Shandong Artists Association;
In 2013, he was hired as an adjunct professor at the School of Arts of Shandong University;
In 2014, he was elected as the deputy director of the art committee of Shandong Artists Association. Deputy Director of Shandong Provincial Flower and Bird Painting Art Committee;
In 2014, he was elected as the third vice chairman of the China Financial Artists Association;
In 2017, he was elected as the vice chairman of the 7th Shandong Provincial Artists Association;
In 2018, he was hired as a researcher of Chinese painting by the Communication University of China;
On January 29, 2019, he attended the 4th Member Congress of Tai'an Artists Association and was consecutively elected as the chairman of the 4th Tai'an Artists Association.
