On April 28th, the first invitational exhibition of calligraphy masterpieces opened at the Liling Practice Base of the "Literature and Art" Gathering Area of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
In recent years, the city's Federation of Literary and Art Circles has always adhered to the strategy of "please come in and go out", actively built a platform, invited famous artists to give lectures, and jointly promoted the deep integration of calligraphy art and ceramic industry, cultural tourism and cultural creativity. This time, a total of nine influential Hunan calligraphers, including Hu Zigui, Chen Yangjing, Chu Shi and Xia Bibo, were invited to hold an exhibition in Liling, adding a strong cultural color to the upcoming May Day Festival and the beautiful porcelain city of Liling.
Hu Zigui, director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, researcher of the China National Academy of Painting, vice chairman and secretary general of the Hunan Calligraphers Association, said in his speech that he was very honored to exhibit his calligraphy works in Liling, the thousand-year-old porcelain capital, and hoped that the artistic relationship with Liling would last forever and compose a brilliant chapter together.
It is understood that this exhibition is sponsored by the Liling Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Liling Municipal People's Government, and undertaken by the Liling Ceramics International Convention and Exhibition Service Center, the Liling Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Liling Practice Base of the "Literature and Art" Gathering Area of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and co-organized by the Liling Calligraphers Association. The exhibition runs until May 12 and is open to the public free of charge from 9:30 to 21:30 every day. Taotao Market will be held from May 1st to May 3rd in the 1915 Liling International Ceramic Culture Characteristic Block, where the general public and tourists will enjoy the elegant calligraphy works while visiting the market to find exquisite cultural and creative products.
