Han Rui was born in Hanlou Village, Wushengqiao Town, Dongming County, Heze City. In 2003, after graduating from university, Korea Rui stayed in Guangdong as a teacher. By chance, he was asked to offer a special school-based course, which was associated with "grain painting". He combined his art skills with traditional grain painting techniques, which further aroused his enthusiasm for painting with grain.
