Mao Jizhi, a peasant painter in his 70s, is famous in Dongming County, Heze City, Shandong Province. Dongming County is an important area involved in the relocation of the Yellow River beach area in Shandong Province. The beach area refers to the area between the river trough and the levee, which not only plays the function of flood discharge, but also the home of local people's production and life. "In the past, life was bitter, and I didn't live in the beach area very well." Mao Jizhi recalled.

In 2017, Shandong Province launched the Yellow River Beach District Poverty Alleviation and Relocation Project, and after years of hard work, 600,000 people in the beach area of the province have a stable home. Today, the Xingdong community in Changxingji Township, which was built by a number of villages, has changed greatly. The community is built on a 4-meter-high terrace, with small two-story buildings with white walls and red tiles lined up neatly, and activity centers, schools, supermarkets and other places are readily available.

In a recent painting by Mao Jizhi, a high-speed train of the "Fuxing" is passing through the countryside, and the villagers beat gongs and drums to celebrate happily. On December 26, 2021, the Lunan high-speed railway Qufu to Heze to Zhuangzhai section was officially opened to traffic, and Mao Jizhi boarded the first train as a representative of the masses and returned to create this work.
