Write vernacular poems under the gourd shed

The farm yard is the birthplace of vernacular poetry. Feng Weimin, the first great composer of the famous songwriters of his ancestors, left the best vernacular poems in the history of literature. I found that these vernacular poems he wrote were not written for the officials, but were written in seclusion and living a simple life in a peasant family, which produced inspiration and natural flow. I have written vernacular poems all my life, and I deeply feel that the roots of the poems are rooted in the small courtyard of the farmhouse, under the gourd shed in the courtyard, which is the spring where the vernacular poetry erupts. When the weather is warm, the gourd shed is my family's restaurant, three meals a day are eaten here, grandpa and father's dusk wine is drunk here, the family comes to entertain here, the elders take a break or nap on the recliner under the shed, the whole family listens to fresh stories spread here, and it is also a place where neighbors and hundreds of families visit the door to play....Therefore, the small courtyard is a small cell of society, a part of the world, and the richest life library of vernacular poetry, the source of endless spitting.
In his lifetime, Feng Weimin left 170 scattered songs, that is, mainly wrote local poems about peasant life. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, he abandoned his official position and went into hiding, sent his love to the landscape, and ended up in the countryside. His later years were spent in his hometown of Laolongwan in Yeyuan Town, Shandong Province. During this period, he was close to nature, became an ordinary farmer, mingled with the people, ate farm meals, did farm work, and reflected the voice of the peasants. In March 1981, the Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House published the book "HaifushanTang Manuscript" for him in this historical period. Since the 1950s when I was in middle school, I have admired this old ancestor Wencai, admired his works, and given birth to the will to inherit his writing and ideological style. So I began to learn to write local poems, I heard that Linqu Xinhua Bookstore bought this book, I bought this book from the primary school in the eastern foothills of Yishan Mountain, riding a bicycle into the city non-stop, has been collected until now, still well preserved.
Because I have continuously written vernacular poems, studied vernacular poems, and wanted to improve and develop vernacular poems, I have always placed this book on the writing desk and read it carefully when I have time. For example, "Afternoon Break", "Wheat Has a Feeling", "Farm Stay", "Farmhouse Bitterness", "Yeyuan Great Ten Scenes", "Xiqing", "Happy Rain" and other famous articles, have been read dozens of times, benefited a lot, and have a deep impact on writing. The aphorism in "Lunch Break" is "The old wife gossips about homely things." Ask the crops, how much wheat is harvested? Enjoy sunflowers with fast ancient wine. Seeing through it, what he thought, what he hoped, and hoped for, were integrated with the farmer. The poem is well written and the true feelings are written, which is closely related to the common destiny of breathing with the peasants. I write vernacular poems, and when I discuss the life of a farmer, I have a common experience with him, and I have written many similar small poems in modern times. As written:

The elders write poems in the same way as I do, and many of his very innovative poems are also written under the gourd shed in the small courtyard, which can be seen from the background of the poems. In his former residence, there are gourd sheds in the homes of his relatives and friends, and the small scenery of the gourds all enters his eyes and gives birth to small local poems. In Happy Rain, he wrote:
At the beginning of the wild water, under the fine drops of thatch, Xi Fan Fan was everywhere. Eliminate the disaster without thousands of gold prices, save the suffering and reborn the family of eight. All bloom, Joe blossom bean blossom, see the gourd shed knotted a red gold melon.
This vernacular poem of his is brilliantly written, the language is very popular, the expression is very profound, and the ideological nature of the times is very strong. I think this is a really high-level vernacular poem that the average poet can't write.
For decades, I observed the life of the peasant family almost every day, learned his style of writing this kind of vernacular poetry, spewed out the charm of this poem, and also wrote several better poems, showing the advantages of local poems, such as in "Waking Mountain Village", "Chicken Crying", "Spring Flower Palanquin", "Melon Garden Moonlit Night" and several other poems, at that time, after the "Stars" poem was published, the shock was very strong, and the famous critic immediately wrote a review, posted it in high-end newspapers and periodicals, and quickly won the Shandong Provincial Literary Creation Award. Among them, "Spring Flower Palanquin" was also awarded in the National Pastoral Poetry Competition. The song "Melon Garden Moon Night" is also very influential, writing:

Melon shed Hold up a round of bright moon
The melon field is plated with a layer of silver frost
An old man wanders along the ridge
The stars hid in his sweaty stream
Scoop a scoop of pearls into the green clouds

This poem reflects the spiritual outlook of peasant families, rural reform and opening up, and in the implementation of the family contract system, peasants raise their eyebrows and breathe. During this period, although I worked in the county party committee, I often went deep into the countryside, and on Sundays I went back to my hometown, and I was active in the small courtyard, and the gourd shed was the place where I was most fascinated, eating the farmer's meal made by my mother under the gourd shed was particularly fragrant, drinking large leaf tea and writing poetry under the gourd shed, the brain was particularly spirited, and the fresh inspiration could not stop jumping out, often to write out. At night, I don't want to leave the gourd shed, a round of bright moon in the sky shines, a small kerosene lamp under the shed shines, calmly listen to the grasshoppers chirping in the green leaf cracks, the mood of rest is particularly good, once the poetry god comes, by having to write, will immediately write on the checkered paper, and then sort it out during the day. The poem "The Night of the Moon in the Melon Garden" was selected to be included in the book "Qilu Wenku" published by the Shandong Writers Association to commemorate the reform and opening up.
In my lifetime, I wrote more than 10,000 poems, published 9 poetry collections, and wrote more than 5,000 poems under the gourd shed. I think with the development of the times, the environment of the farmhouse is constantly changing, the huts have become buildings, the stone walls and fence walls of the small courtyard have become the columns, some have no small courtyards, let alone gourd sheds, but on the screen in my mind, I can never erase the small courtyard and the gourd shed. In addition, this way of living in the farmhouse will continue to develop into the future. In recent years, I have drilled the mountain at two ends for three days, close to nature, in-depth observation of the life of farmers in the mountains, and found that after all, there are still a few buildings, and many people have built two-story small buildings, and also retained the gourd sheds in the small courtyard and small courtyards. Today's mountains, beautifying the green environment, everywhere present scenic spots, gardens, a small mountain village is also the same as the garden, small bridges and flowing water people, there are pergola melon bean courtyards, are built very beautiful, poetic. This is still the birthplace of vernacular poetry, their magical beauty, the state of beauty, still represents the soul of vernacular poetry, continuing the development of vernacular poetry, I believe that the prospect of vernacular poetry is beautiful, is the warm world of rejuvenating auspicious light, after reading embodies the most beautiful life.
Feng Enchang was born in 1937 in Linqu, Shandong. He once served as the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the county party committee and the chairman of the Literary Association, a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a member of the Chinese Folk Artists Association, a director of the Shandong Prose Literature Association, a standing director of the China Vernacular Poets Association, a famous poet and writer of the National Pastoral School, a representative of the "Rural Small Courtyard School", and was known as the god of Oriental poetry. His works have won many awards at home and abroad, and have won the honorary title of lifetime achievement of the highest award of folk literature in the Asia-Pacific region, "Golden Flying Eagle Award", and have been named the title of world cultural celebrity and national first-class artist, the inheritor of the legend of Feng Weimin, and has published 23 literary monographs, "Sugar Gourd" and "Hometown Cicada Song", which have been selected to read textbooks in full-time middle schools nationwide.
