Wine is her guts, wine is her soul, and wine is her inexhaustible strength.
It was one day shortly after the reform and opening up, I bought a box of Longwan heavy brewing produced by Qinchi Distillery in the county town, rode a bicycle back to my hometown, and gave it to my mother: "This is the best wine produced by Qinchi Distillery, some people call it 'Linqu Maotai', you taste it!" That night, she deliberately fried a few small dishes and asked me to accompany her to taste wine. The bottle was a small reddish-brown jar, and as soon as I opened the cap, she smelled the wine and said in surprise, "Good wine, good wine!" ”
I filled her with a cup, she took it up and "squeaked-" and drank it to the sky, five or six cups in a row, her face was sweating, her cheeks were red, and the tip of her nose was shining with fine sweat particles, and I said: "Don't drink any more, good wine is drunk after drinking!" She said: "Make up enough 10 cups, otherwise you won't be addicted!" Since then, she recognized the Longwan heavy brew, a day and a half of pounds, any situation can not be stopped, encounter I have something can not be sent home in time, she personally called me to find me: "Go home to send me 'Little Toot' wine!" She called the small altar-like bottle a small toot. When she went to play on the street in the village, someone asked her: "What good wine did your son send you!" She smiled and said, "Little toot, fragrant little toot!" "She drinks seventeen or eight small toots every month, does not drink any other wine, is obsessed with this Longwan heavy brew for a while, she not only eats and drinks a few cups, often goes out to play for a while, comes back from under the tea table to find a small toot, drink a few sips at the mouth of the bottle, do a little housework at home, and then pour a few sips, drink that calm, sweet and happy energy, it is difficult to describe in words.
Whenever a distinguished guest in my family comes to the door, my wife and I always receive us warmly, but the main companion is my mother. According to rural customs, women only have a busy share and do not have the right to be served, but in my family it is not, no matter how noble the guest, must be accompanied by the mother. The highest specification of reception is to drink small toots. Without waiting for the wine dishes on the table to be served, my mother said, "Bring the little toot, this is the most exclusive wine in my family!" "What Maotai, Wuliangye, Shuijingfang, drunkard, often do not occupy an important position in her heart." Only this Longwan rebreeding is the dionysus she admires, the soul of life!
