Zhao Jiachang, a native of Dingtao County, Shandong Province, born in 1963, was then a platoon commander of a reconnaissance company of the 138th Division of the 46th Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

On September 23, 1985, Cho Ka Cheong was ordered to lead 9 scouts to carry out important tasks, cooperate with the frontal troops to attack the 395 highlands occupied by the Vietnamese army, Cho Ka Cheong took the lead in the battle, fought bravely, commanded his comrades and the enemy to fight fiercely for more than 4 hours, during the battle they blew up 7 Vietnamese Tun Bing Caves and 1 command post, killing 22 Vietnamese troops and wounding 13 people. During the battle, Zhao Jiachang was wounded in the head and bleeding profusely, so he bandaged his wounds with gauze and continued to fight with the enemy!
