On January 15, the Patrol Special Police Anti-Terrorism Brigade of the Lianjiang County Public Security Bureau received a plea for help from the masses, saying that three young boys suddenly "disappeared" in the community, looking around and finding no trace. The three children were 12, 11 and 8 years old, two of whom were brothers and the other was a good friend.

According to the parents who called the police, at about 8 p.m. on the 14th, the three children met downstairs to play after dinner. But who expected, until 11 o'clock that night, the child had not come home. So she immediately went downstairs to look for it, but found no trace of the child in the neighborhood. "Then we looked up the public video of the community and found that at about 11 p.m., the children walked out of the community and then disappeared into the camera." This can shock parents out of a cold sweat.

After the incident, the family searched around the surrounding area, but there was no whereabouts of the children.

After receiving the alarm, the Lianjiang public security police immediately launched a search. At about 8:00 a.m. on January 15, the police searched and found that there were traces of children near Wanjia City Square. The good news gave parents a sigh of relief, but then the clues were broken.

Parents are more anxious, worried about what accidents will happen to their children. While calming the emotions of parents, the police adjusted their search ideas, decided to release search information in the circle of friends, and launched multiple forces such as public security, schools, and enthusiastic people to launch a relay search in the city. At about 4 p.m. on the same day, the police received a phone call saying that the boys appeared in the Lijing Tianxia Community in Lianjiang County. Eventually, 3 boys were found in the neighborhood.

It turned out that this was a "prank" agreed upon by the three "bear children" in advance. After the fact, it was learned that at that time, the 3 boys took the thermos cup, carried 30 yuan, and staged "Don't go home tonight". According to a child's description, on the evening of the 14th, after playing near the Wanjia City Square in Lianjiang County, the children went to a nearby convenience store and asked for a night on the grounds that "my mother will not come home until tomorrow". The kind hostess took them in for one night and provided bread and milk for the children.
