Yang Hucheng was born on November 26, 1893 in Sun Town, Pucheng County, Shaanxi Province, and his nickname was Yang Changchang.
Yang Hucheng's family was poor since childhood, his father Yang Huaifu was a carpenter, because of family reasons, Yang Hucheng only attended private school for two years, he dropped out of school to become a handyman, and later Yang Hucheng's father Yang Huaifu was killed by the Qing government, Yang Hucheng was very dissatisfied with the oppression of the Qing government because of his father's death, so he embarked on the road of anti-Qing.
After the outbreak of the Wuchang Uprising in 1911, Yang Hucheng joined the Shaanxi People's Army and officially embarked on the road of anti-Qing, and later the Nationalist Army was reduced, Yang Hucheng retired, on the way back to his hometown, he was robbed by bullies on the mountain, forcing him to fall into the grass, and later Yang Hucheng grew his own power and led the brothers to join the Shaanxi Protectorate Army.
In 1917, Sun Yat-sen raised the banner of protecting the Law, and Yang Hucheng joined Sun Yat-sen's ranks and became the commander of the left wing army detachment of the Shaanxi Jingguo Army.

On the evening of December 11, 1936, the Xi'an Incident, which shocked China and foreign countries, occurred, and on the evening of the 12th, when old Jiang was resting at his residence in Lintong, Xi'an, he was surrounded by troops sent by Zhang Xueliang and subsequently arrested.

In 1937, Yang Hucheng secretly returned to China to participate in the anti-Japanese work, and lao Jiang, who learned of this news, decided to arrest Yang Hucheng, and in December, Lao Jiang lured Yang Hucheng to Nanchang, and then arrested Yang Hucheng and secretly imprisoned him, which was enough to lock Yang Hucheng up for 12 years, during which Time Yang Hucheng's wife also died.
On the eve of the liberation of all China in 1949, Li Zongren, acting president of the National Government of Li Zongren, ordered the release of Yang Hucheng, but this order was not carried out, and on the eve of the old Chiang's escape to Taiwan, he instructed Mao Renfeng, the head of the military command, to kill Yang Hucheng's family.
On September 6, 1949, Yang Hucheng's entire family was killed by agents in Chongqing. It is truly deplorable that the patriotic general did not kill the enemy on the battlefield and make meritorious contributions, but instead died at the hands of his own people.
After Yang Hucheng's death, his descendants looked around for the murderer in order to understand him more deeply, but the sea of people, coupled with the turmoil at that time, the clues that could be found were limited, and the murderer of Yang Hucheng had not been found, even so, Yang Hucheng's descendants did not give up the idea of finding the murderer, and finally after half a century of searching, they found Yang Qindian, the secret agent who was involved in killing Yang Hucheng at that time.
Half a century later, Yang Qindian has been half-buried in the loess, when Yang Hucheng's grandson Yang Han found him, he burst into tears, remorse for what he did at that time, Yang Han began to hate this enemy of his family, but when he listened to Yang Qindian's story, he also let go of the hatred in his heart, but blessed the old man, hoping that he could live to 110 years old.
It turned out that Yang Qindian was only a guard at that time, and he was only a small person in prison, but he had a kind heart, often helped revolutionaries to pass on information, and killing Yang Hucheng was also an order from his superiors, which was forced to do, and there were still more than a dozen Communist Party members who were not harmed at that time. It was also Yang Qindian who secretly released them all, and he immediately went to surrender himself, hoping to make up for the crimes he had committed.
Regarding Yang Qindian's practice, the people's government carefully investigated and determined that he had redeemed his merits and revoked his punishment. Assigned a job to him, Yang Qindian, believing that his crimes were not qualified to accept government jobs, returned to the countryside.
After returning to the countryside, every time he mourned Yang Hucheng, he would participate in it in order to alleviate his sins.
