Song Zhenzhong, whose real name is "Little Radish Head", was born in Jiangsu in 1941 to revolutionary parents.

Life in prison is naturally hard, the little he can't eat enough, clothe is not warm, his face is hungry and yellow, then he has the nickname of "little radish head". In prison, "Little Radish Head" and his mother worked as underground traffic officers, because the identity of the young child is not easy to be targeted by the enemy.
In this way, the "little turnip head" grew up in prison to the age of 6, and he was eager to learn and become a person who dedicated himself to the country like his parents. Without a chance to go out to school, the knowledgeable adults in prison became his teachers, teaching him some principles of life and some superficial knowledge. However, the days of being a little intelligence officer while learning knowledge passed for a few years.
On September 6, 1949, the 8-year-old Song Zhenzhong was killed by reactionaries along with his parents, and the family of three became martyrs. The person who killed the "little radish head" was called Yang Qindian, and after receiving the order from his superiors, he and another agent together strangled the neck of the "little radish head" and brutally killed this little life. Although this Yang Qindian did things for the reactionaries, he may not be bad in nature.
In 1948, he was sent to the Baigongguan Detention Center to take care of prisoners, and Song Zhenzhong's father, Song Qiyun, saw that he was only doing this work as a last resort to survive, and tried to impress him. After several comings and goings, Yang Qindian also responded, and he tried his best to meet the requests of these "prisoners".
Later, his superiors also ordered him to execute the "little radish head", and he was forced to give a cruel hand. After this incident, he felt guilty, and in an emergency, he released 19 revolutionary comrades who were imprisoned in prison as a way to atone for their sins.
After the founding of New China, yang Qindian was arrested for persecuting revolutionary martyrs in the past, and his crime was to kill the 8-year-old "little radish head". On the eve of the verdict, he invited the 19 comrades he had released to testify on his behalf and was released on the spot. However, Yang Qindian's life has always been tinged with a little guilt and respect for the revolutionary ancestors.
Since 1998, accompanied by his family, Yang Qindian has returned to Gele Mountain six times to remember those revolutionary ancestors who have passed away, not only that, he also educated his descendants to be patriotic. In 2007, Yang Qindian, who was 89 years old, died in his hometown. In fact, if it were not for the cruelty of the times, he might just be an ordinary old man and live an ordinary life.
