The revolutionary story of "Little Radish Head" Song Zhenzhong must be familiar to everyone, and we must also hate the murderer of the little radish head. But in the end, the murderer not only received a pardon from the state, but also the government's work arrangements, and even finally received forgiveness and visits from the family of the little radish head. Who is this murderer? What did he do to turn his own evil into a good luck?
The great patriotism of the little radish head
Comrade Song Qiyun, the father of the little radish head, was sent to work with General Yang Hucheng as early as 1929. The smooth progress of the Xi'an Incident in 1936 had a lot to do with the extensive united front work done by Song Qiyun to Yang Hucheng, and the contribution of Song Qiyun and his wife to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the Chinese Revolution was immeasurable.
Unfortunately, however, due to Chiang Kai-shek's narrow-mindedness, Mr. and Mrs. Soong Qiyun were arrested and imprisoned for their involvement in the Xi'an Incident. The little radish head Song Zhenzhong, as the baby in the arms of Song Qiyun and his wife, was also arrested and imprisoned together.
After being imprisoned, Song Qiyun's lover Xu Linxia has never given up her hope for revolution, and she has continuously carried out revolutionary education for Zong Zhenzhong, who is still learning to speak at the age of one year. Song Zhenzhong has been in prison since he can remember, he has not seen flowers and school bags, has not eaten sugar and bread, learned communism and revolutionary ideas when he understands things, and distinguishes between good and evil and ugly beauty.
Because of the serious lack of nutrition, Song Zhenzhong was still only four or five years old when he was seven or eight years old, and his body was seriously thin. Song Zhenzhong's body was only as thick as an adult's legs, and in comparison, his head appeared exceptionally large, and the prisoners bitterly and affectionately gave him the nickname --- small radish head, because Song Zhenzhong was too much like a slender radish with a huge stem and leaf.
Even so, Xiao Radish Head and his mother Xu Linxia gave the only noodle to other revolutionary comrades. In 1947, Hu Chunpu was arrested and imprisoned, because he suffered from a serious stomach ulcer and could not eat the raw cold moldy rice in prison, the small radish head saw it and immediately reported the situation to his mother, Xu Linxia made all the noodles he had earned from his hard work into noodles, and let the small radish head be given to Hu Chunpu. Although the small radish head is seriously lacking in nutrients, it has not eaten noodles.
Because Xiao Radish Tou was a child at a young age, the Kuomintang guards did not have too strict vigilance against him, so Xiao Radish Tou served as a "traffic correspondent" for the party organization in prison. The news of the organization was conveyed through the little radish head among the imprisoned Communists, and these important messages and the behavior of the little radish head were very encouraging.
However, on the eve of the founding of New China, Chiang Kai-shek began to hate all the "political prisoners" related to the Xi'an Incident in that year, so he secretly ordered his subordinates to begin executing these "political prisoners" in batches.
The smallest revolutionary martyr
Yang Qindian was a Kuomintang officer responsible for secretly killing Song Qiyun and his wife and Xiao Radish Head, and he joined the Kuomintang to serve the country and benefit the people, but he increasingly found that the Nationalist Party and the country and the people were drifting apart. Therefore, when he was guarding the "political prisoners" of the Communist Party and some Patriotic Generals of the Kuomintang in prison, he was very kind to the people of our Party and other patriotic generals who he respected in his heart, and intentionally or unintentionally helped the prisoners of our Party.
On August 27, 1949, Yang Qindian was officially assigned a "mission" --- to kill General Yang Hucheng and his family, as well as to personally kill Song Zhenzhong, the "little turnip head".
Although Chiang Kai-shek hated them to the bone and was bound to kill them, he did not have a reason to get his hands on it--- was it because they were patriotic and anti-Japanese that they wanted to kill them? Therefore, Chiang Kai-shek arranged for Mao Renfeng and other executioners to secretly assassinate Yang Hucheng and Song Qiyun and others, and the weapons used as daggers, after all, the sound of gunfire would attract the attention of the outside world.
Yang Hucheng, his children and Song Qiyun's family were transferred by Kuomintang agents from Baigongguan Prison in Chongqing to Dai Gong Ancestral Hall, and Yang Hucheng's son and daughter were first stabbed in the chest with a dagger by the agents, and then General Yang Hucheng was also killed. In order to destroy the body, the agents completely burned Yang Hucheng's face with chemicals after killing him, making him unrecognizable, and then buried him on the spot.
Next is Song Qiyun Xu Linxia's small radish head family of three. Yang Qindian was responsible for personally killing the little radish head Song Zhenzhong, but he couldn't bear to blur the flesh and blood of the little radish head, so he used one hand to jam the neck of the little radish head (because he was too thin and the neck was very thin), trying to strangle it to death, but the little radish head struggled, and the other executioners saw it and directly stabbed into his thin chest with a sharp knife. The little radish head was sacrificed on the spot.
At this time, the little radish head was not yet 8 years old, and they did not even let go of such a small child, which was bound to make people disdainful, so these executioners dug a pit on the spot and buried the little radish head in the grass. After the liberation of Chongqing, when the remains of The Little Radish Head were found, his two thin hands were tightly held in front of his chest, and his hands were opened, and inside they were a small pencil given to him by his prison teacher.
When Xiao Radish Head and his mother Xu Linxia were still in prison, Xu Linxia and other comrades were still full of confidence in the revolution, they lived strongly, and strongly demanded that the prison authorities give Xiao Radish Head the necessary cultural education. Although the little radish head went to jail from one to many, everyone hoped that he could see the outside world from the books.
With the help of Yang Qindian, the Kuomintang side was finally forced to reluctantly agree to the request for cultural education for the little radish head under pressure. General Huang Xiansheng was a patriotic general in the Kuomintang Northeast Army, and at the same time a secret member of our Party, who was also imprisoned for supporting and participating in the Xi'an Incident. Huang Xiansheng served as the enlightenment teacher of the little radish head, and the small pencil was given by him.
Make up for it
On November 27, the Kuomintang reactionaries staged the horrific "11-27 Massacre," in which hundreds of patriots were brutally murdered and cremated. At 11 o'clock that night, there were 19 other comrades in the White Mansion who were about to be killed, but unexpectedly there was an emergency in the slag cave, and the Kuomintang agents of the White Mansion were temporarily dispatched away, leaving Yang Qindian and another guard, Li Yusheng, and some Kuomintang soldiers to guard.
At this time, New China had been founded, the liberation of the whole country had been nailed down, and Chiang Kai-shek was about to leave the mainland to flee to Treasure Island and take away those "military and political dignitaries." As for the others, it did not matter, and there was no suspense in being abandoned and left on the mainland. Yang Qindian knows this well, so he has been looking for a way back for himself.
At this time, luo Guangbin, a party member in prison (the author of "Red Rock"), also advised Yang Qindian: New China has been established, the liberation of Chongqing is just around the corner, old Yang you should not be confused, this is the opportunity for you to make up for your mistakes. Yang Qindian made up his mind, so he found Li Yusheng and the other guards, pretended to panic and said to them: Do you know why other colleagues of the military command suddenly left just now? We were deceived by Old Chiang Kai-shek, the People's Liberation Army is now about to kill the general, those high-level people in order to leave us these burdens, secretly ran away, this does not push us into the fire pit? These people are so unauthentic!
After hearing this, these soldiers suddenly realized that they were all gritting their teeth in hatred and asked Yang Qindian what to do. Yang Qindian stomped his feet angrily and said: Run Wow! What else can I do, is it difficult to sit here and wait for death?
So Li Yusheng and the other soldiers immediately began to flee, and Yang Qindian returned to the prison to open the prison door and warn everyone not to leave first, and now there are Kuomintang soldiers around, and after a while they stomp on the upper floor and then go out and escape from the back mountain. In this way, 19 comrades successfully escaped from prison under the cover of Yang Qindian.
On November 29, Chongqing was liberated. The next day, Luo Guangbin kept his promise and led Yang Qindian to the Chongqing Public Security Bureau to turn himself in, proving to the Public Security Bureau that Yang Qindian had personally released 19 comrades of our party. After the public security bureau asked the superiors, it decided to give Yang Qindian leniency, no longer pursue the crime of killing The little radish head Song Zhenzhong, and prepared to arrange for Yang Qindian to work in the Chongqing Public Security Bureau.
Yang Qindian was already very satisfied with being forgiven, did not dare to have other luxuries, and did not dare to accept the work arrangements given by the government, and only wanted to return to the countryside to work as a farmer and spend the rest of his life peacefully.
The public security bureau agreed to his request and issued Yang Qindian a travel fee, and Yang Qindian returned to his hometown of Luohe, Henan. Later, Yang Qindian came to the Geleshan Revolution Memorial Hall many times to commemorate the martyrs and appeared to say that, so that a new generation of young students could understand that period of history.
Later, The older brother of the little radish head once visited Yang Qindian and said that he had forgiven Yang Qindian for killing his brother; Yang Hucheng's descendants also came to Yang Qindian, the only historical witness, and also forgave him.
In November 2007, Yang Qindian died of illness in his hometown of Luohe, Henan.
