Hao Keyong was born in Shaanxi in 1914, in fact, not only his later identity is more special, Hao Keyong's family is also extraordinary, his father is Hao Pengcheng, the founder of the Northwest Army. It should be known that Hao Pengcheng was also a good brother with Zhao Shoushan and Yang Hucheng, and he also served as a special forces battalion commander in Yang Hucheng's army. Just as the so-called tiger father has no dog, with such an excellent father, it is naturally not surprising that he can cultivate a son like Hao Keyong.
Like other fathers, Hao Pengcheng also wanted his son to inherit his father's business and join the Northwest Army, but for Hao Keyong, he had no interest in it, but was quite yearning for medicine. From this point of view, Hao Keyong could have become a doctor if he insisted, but perhaps due to fate, in the end, he did not embark on the road of medicine, but embarked on a revolutionary journey as his father expected.
As for why Hao Keyong was still engaged in a career that he was not interested in at the time, it was also related to his brother Hao Kejun. Hao Kejun was also a member of the Chinese Communist Party, also served as a soldier in Yang Hucheng's army, and later went to Shanghai to become the head of a school party organization. His brother's vigorous development of the revolutionary cause was particularly admired by the young Hao Keyong at that time, so he who was obsessed with medicine also had the ambition to join the revolutionary cause at that time.
And in the turbulent context of the situation at that time, Hao Keyong seemed to realize that studying medicine was not as fast as the revolution to save people. In this way, under the influence of revolutionary ideas, he joined the Anti-Japanese Volunteer Army.
On July 7, 1937, the outbreak of the All-out War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Hao Keyong also officially joined the Communist Party of China at this time, becoming a party member with aspirations and ideals.
However, after joining our party, Hao Keyong was unable to work on the front line as he wished, because at that time the state arranged for him to have a special task, that is, to engage in underground work. However, he was still directly under the arrangement and leadership of the party organization, although such work was slightly disappointing for Hao Keyong, but he also knew that this was an important link in the achievement of our party in the Spring and Autumn Period, so he still accepted obedience to the underground party work committee of the Thirty-eighth Army of the Kuomintang.
It is no easier to engage in underground work than to go to the front, and even to say that this kind of work is more dangerous, which also determines that all agents must act cautiously, and if there is a slightest flaw, it may bury lives and even affect the safety of the whole party. After Hao Keyong went to the Thirty-Eighth Army, he also actively promoted communist ideas to the people of the Kuomintang Thirty-eighth Army. After that, he took out various advanced publications to tell the soldiers of the Thirty-eighth Army about the development of the Communist Party, which also made those who were in confusion fully understand the Communist Party's ideology.
In addition, Hao Keyong also used his own research on the chairman and the Communist Party to compile various articles, and used these articles as teaching materials for ideological education to the people. In addition to political education, Hao Keyong also attaches great importance to military training, such as how to disguise and collect intelligence.
Compared with the way other military personnel blindly instill ideological work, Hao Keyong is more inclined to thin water and long streams, so that people can truly understand and understand. At that time, Hao Keyong needed to disguise his identity on the one hand and publicize the work within the party on the other, and it turned out that although this job had high difficulty, Hao Keyong's high emotional intelligence and strong appeal also overcame the difficulties in the work, which may also be the reason why the party organization selected him in the first place.
With the joint efforts of the party organization and Hao Keyong, the people of the Thirty-Eighth Army gradually joined our party and served the Communist Party together. Of course, his underground work is not only this, in addition to propagating the ideas within the party, Hao Keyong knows that he also needs another group of people who can fight for the anti-Japanese resistance like our army, so after these people joined the Communist Party, Hao Keyong also personally taught them how to fight against Japan.
But Hao Keyong secretly made such a big move, so that the team had such a big change, it was impossible to be unaware, so in December 1946, Chiang Kai-shek received a telegram from Sun Weiru.
In this telegram, all the people engaged in underground work were recorded, a total of 37 people, and these people belonged to the officers, including Hao Keyong, who was furious after seeing it, and angrily ordered that these underground party members be arrested immediately, and then Chiang Kai-shek also said that he would detain them in Luoyang for interrogation.
It was also at this time that the sudden appearance of a man turned the tide, he was Zhao Shoushan, but speaking of Zhao Shoushan, he was also full of legends, because in the Xi'an Incident, it was this person who proposed to Yang Hucheng that he forced Chiang Kai-shek to take the road of resistance against Japan, although Zhao Shoushan had always worked within the Kuomintang, he was also a real revolutionary, and he was pro-Communist, which made Chiang Kai-shek love and hate him, and even repeatedly forced him to ask whether he was a Kuomintang or a Communist.
At that time, When Zhao Shoushan learned that Chiang Kai-shek was going to order the arrest of these underground members, he immediately sent a letter to Hao Keyong, suggested that Hao Keyong should quickly pretend to be ill and leave, and assured him that he would take care of the rest.
When he learned that Zhao Shoushan did not ask for anything in return for himself and his respect for the Communist Party, Hao Keyong had tears in his eyes, as a temperamental person, he may not be able to say too many words of gratitude, and there is only one sentence on his lips: "Mr. Zhao, thank you"! But these 6 words are enough to express Hao Keyong's respect and admiration for this dissident person. And a sentence said by Zhao Shoushan at that time also influenced Hao Keyong for many years afterwards.

Later, Hao Keyong also escaped Chiang Kai-shek's destruction under the escort of Zhao Shoushan, fortunately, the secret report that reached the old Chiang Kai-shek at that time only listed the communist list and did not disclose the thirty-eighth army, so the thirty-eighth army could still secretly protect the communist party to serve it.
It was not until May 1941 that Zhao Shoushan again invited Hao Keyong to be the leader of the Kuomintang's 3rd Teaching Team, but at this time Chiang Kai-shek would not miss the opportunity, and when Chiang Kai-shek discovered that Zhao Shoushan had shielded the Communists, he unveiled and unveiled the long-hidden secrets of the Thirty-eighth Army. Chiang Kai-shek then ordered immediate control of the Thirty-Eighth Army. The matter immediately reached the chairman's ears, and the chairman was not in a hurry about this, and calmly asked Zhao Shoushan to help escort Hao Keyong to Yan'an safely.
But at this time, Chiang Kai-shek was furious, and he approached Zhao Shoushan, questioned him why he was so pro-Communist, and gambled: If this is the case, why don't you join the Communist Party! Zhao Shoushan did not hide his thoughts, he said:
All are the same, for the sake of the anti-Japanese resistance, they are all the same for the revolution

Later, due to chiang kai-shek's control, Zhao Shoushan really could not escort Hao Keyong back to Yan'an, or our party working committee sent someone to pick up Hao Keyong, and after 5 months, Hao Keyong finally arrived in Yan'an.

After some discussion, Hao Keyong boldly made a request to the chairman — I hope to get Zhao Shoushan to join the Chinese Communist Party.
The chairman is also well aware of Comrade Zhao Shoushan's protection of Communist Party figures, and now Hao Keyong has clearly made a request to the chairman, and the chairman has no reason to refuse, but only said that the party joining ceremony can only be carried out in private.
