Ding Xiaoping's long-form reportage "The Red Boat Sets Sail": Inject greater spiritual strength into the people who strive to the future

In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the long-form reportage "The Red Boat Sets Sail" (Zhejiang Education Publishing House, July 2021 edition) created by military writer Ding Xiaoping adheres to the realist creation method and carries forward the great spirit of party building, reflects the arduous exploration of Chinese communists, reflects the general trend of China's social and historical development, and reflects the great and far-reaching enlightenment significance of the red boat for contemporary China. The work truly, vividly and completely recounts the history of the great founding of the party and the construction history of the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall, carefully writes the magnificent epic of the centennial party history of "from the Red Chamber to the Red Boat, from Shikumen to Tiananmen, from the opening of the world to common prosperity" from the two dimensions of history and reality, writes the most beautiful original intention spanning a hundred years, and concentrates on the historical initiative, political consciousness and mission of practicing the "great power of the country" of the Chinese communists in inheriting the spiritual genealogy, with both political height, ideological depth, artistic thickness and literary temperature. Bringing many new historical facts, new discoveries, new cognitions, and new revelations to readers in the new era is the true narrative of the spiritual history of the centennial party, and it is also a vivid teaching material for the study and education of party history at the right time.

To people who strive for the future

Infuse greater spiritual power

Wen 丨 Wang Shoude

Military writer Ding Xiaoping has a healthy momentum in his creation over the years, especially the continuous launch of a series of new works of reportage on the red theme, which shows the high productivity and high quality of his creation. The value orientation and literary pursuit reflected in it can be said to be both dignified and unique, attracting more and more people's attention and winning praise in many aspects, thus becoming an important writer with responsibility and weight. The reportage "The Red Boat Sets Sail", which he created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Cpc, once again uses a unique narrative angle and exquisite literary depiction to enable readers to read so many new historical facts and new discoveries and obtain so many new cognitions and new revelations from this seemingly common theme, and this work also has a certain unique historical and literary value.

The red boat on the South Lake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, has special historical significance and symbolic significance in the history of the founding of the Communist Party of China, because of the important role it has played and the unique position it has, and for today, it is a historical viewpoint that must be looked back and remembered after a hundred years of wind and rain. Ding Xiaoping, who specializes in red theme writing, focuses his attention on China's most famous revolutionary ship, and carries out his passionate and talented writing. We can clearly notice that he did not follow the usual narrative method and carry out some kind of step-by-step and decent grand narrative, but from a woman named Wang Huiwu who had an ordinary identity but had an extraordinary influence on the convening of a major conference, and brought out the intricate history with small people, bringing out many historical figures who had crossed the line and made great waves. This kind of narrative strategy and technique of literary thinking not only brings readers a sense of freshness in reading, but also has a distinctly different style and characteristics from works generally titled party history.

How did Ding Xiaoping specifically control this theme? The first is to devote more space to the new cultural movement advocated by a large number of revolutionary pioneers represented by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao before the founding of the COMMUNIST Party of China, the communist ideas they disseminated, and the preparations for the founding of the party. With a clear vein, sober thoughts, simple words and a cheerful rhyme, the work leads the pen and ink to the great historical moment of the founding of the party. This description and narrative of the ideological and organizational conditions before the founding of the Party is not only indispensable to the proper meaning of the topic, but also reflects the systematicness and integrity of the history described in this book, adding to the necessary ideological and historical thickness of the work. The second is to record in a more truthful and detailed way the tortuous process of the party's major meeting, which is the biggest feature and highlight of this book. With careful examination and detailed text, the author has made an objective, true and credible restoration of the various participants and their backgrounds, the time and place of the conference, the procedures and atmosphere and topics of the conference, etc., so that history can be presented to today's readers in its original appearance. The sudden intrusion of the "bag detectives" of the French Concession Patrol House into a large field made the situation immediately become strange and critical. Regarding the location of the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of Wang Huiwu, who came out of Jiaxing, played a key and decisive role here. From the time and frequency selected by Wang Huiwu, Gao Junman and others through the train timetable published in the "Declaration" at that time, as well as the analysis of the geographical location and social atmosphere of Jiaxing, as well as the process of the deputies' transfer from Shanghai to Jiaxing, the weather conditions when they arrived at Jiaxing South Lake, and the scale and shape of the red boats (painting boats) that were usually used as tours during meetings, the work's narrative of this work is a plain, detailed, and interesting introduction and narration. What the work tells the reader is that a big party that is about to lead China and shock the world was born in a small boat in the South Lake of Jiaxing, and China's Red Revolution officially set sail and sailed from here.

If the above is a narrative of the past life of the Red Ship, the next volume of the work is an inquiry into its present life. Its value lies in the search for the red boat after the party led the people of the whole country to victory, which is also another important and very meaningful part of the work description. The Red Ship shines because it has carried a major mission, but it is lost in the depths of history, and in any case, it is impossible to say. The process of finding and confirming the red boat of that year has a certain deep and distant historical significance, from the party and state leaders, to the red boat explainers, the red boat model makers and the middle school students who donated money, their stories with the red boat have been restored one by one in the work, reflecting that the red boat not only has the significance of cultural relics history, but also has the value of revolutionary history, making the red boat a lasting topic and hot spot, and can give readers an infinite number of reverie and associations.

I have been to the places written in "The Red Ship Sets Sail". When I read it, I combined with the impression I went to at that time, and there was still a new harvest. It can be seen that in order to write this work well, Ding Xiaoping has made great efforts to summarize his creation with three narratives, namely the national narrative, the military narrative and the era narrative. The first narrative is the national narrative, because the works written by Ding Xiaoping are all major themes, he carries big work and writes big things, which is his unique choice, not that every reportage writer can complete such a big work, but Ding Xiaoping dares to undertake, I think this is very remarkable. The second narrative is the military narrative, as an accomplished military writer, Ding Xiaoping's view of history and values have always been clear and firm, he always adheres to his true position to write, and never hides his position and viewpoint in his works. Military writers should have such a position of military narrative, not a kind of reverse narrative, which is very important for us military writers, and what kind of spiritual works we can provide for the country and the people is very worthy of attention. Ding Xiaoping insisted on this kind of writing, and the original intention of writing "The Red Ship" and the intentions and wishes to be expressed are worthy of praise and affirmation. The third narrative is the narrative of the times, ding Xiaoping wrote about the original intention of the Communist Party in this book, this original intention is to write about what the Communist Party has, what kind of modern soul is the object of the century-old party's observation, how far away it is from the original intention of the Communist Party when it was founded, and what things must be adhered to, which is particularly worth pondering. This kind of epochal narrative, I see that when Ding Xiaoping wrote "The Red Ship Sets Sail", he did not simply return to the starting point of history, but always put it in today's perspective to observe, reflecting the temperament and weather of the times everywhere. In the book "The Red Ship Sets Sail", we see what we have not seen in other works, and those facts make people see the soul of our party, see the belief of our party, see our reality from the description of history, and even see our future. That is to say, from the time of its birth to today, whether or not we can continue to follow such a path, not to deviate, not to go crooked, not to move toward a terrible result, is particularly important for China and the world today. "The Red Ship Sets Sail" provides such a reference, using literature, facts, and many theoretical expressions to provide people with many important new revelations, which is also the value of this book.

Through writing about the Red Boat, "The Red Boat Sets Sail" reproduces and relives the scenes of the important history of the birth of our party, especially reflects the arduous exploration of the Chinese Communists, reflects the general trend of China's social and historical development, and reflects the great and far-reaching enlightenment significance for contemporary China. The work shows us that the Chinese revolution, which set sail from the red boat, finally ushered in victory after experiencing great winds and waves, so it cannot be overestimated in its evaluation of the Chinese revolution. In order to achieve such a writing goal, the author in the work not only gives a strong documentary and theoretical color, but also shows a certain demystifying and literary characteristics, through accurate and vivid text narration, supplemented by relevant documents, charts, photos and other content, both free and conclusive, effectively enhance the authenticity and credibility of the work, on the theme of the red boat, this book is undoubtedly one of the most authoritative versions. With an extremely responsible writing attitude, it guides readers to draw richer ideological nourishment from revolutionary history and injects greater spiritual strength into people who strive to the future.

A party history textbook full of search spirit

Wen 丨 He Shaojun

Ding Xiaoping's "The Red Boat Sets Sail" is a documentary work about the birth of the Chinese Communist Party, and I prefer to think of it as a book about searching.

Searching is the eternal motif of human civilization, and the reason why human beings are great is that human beings are constantly searching. Ding Xiaoping used search as the ideological context to guide his writing. He wrote three searches in this work. One is the search for China's road by the pioneers of the Chinese revolution, one is the search for the red boat by the latecomers, and the other is the search for the author Ding Xiaoping himself, who used this writing as an opportunity to open the search for the spirit of the red boat. The first two searches constitute the main content of the work, and the search of the author himself is the soul of the book, which runs through the narrative.

Ding Xiaoping's search is sincere, he seriously searches with a sincere heart, he found the spirit of the red boat, which also determines the ideological height of this work.

2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, taking this as an opportunity, launched a lot of documentary literature about the birth of the Communist Party of China, I have read several of them, several of them are very well written, Ding Xiaoping's "Red Boat Sets Sail" is a book, and one is Xu Jian's "Tianxiao 1921", it is interesting that there is an important figure in these two books: Wang Huiwu, although she is not a representative of the Party, but she is a witness to the birth of the Communist Party, when recreating this history, She became an important person, and of course, she was also a senior who made us very respectable. Together, these two books shape the historical figure of Wang Huiwu, who is the best historical guide under the pens of Ding Xiaoping and Xu Jian. When the two writers wanted to travel through the years to explore the historical process of the birth of the Communist Party, they invariably found Wang Huiwu as their guide. Xu Jian's book did not say it, Ding Xiaoping when he began his search, he could not help but start from Wang Huiwu when he came to Shanghai from Jiaxing to look for her eldest nephew Mao Dun, in fact, this is what he chose to let Wang Huiwu be his historical tour guide.

Ding Xiaoping's "search" is serious and careful, and along his way, he has very systematically sorted out the background and process of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The detailed historical materials and the accuracy of the narrative are the most valuable features of this work, so the work has a strong persuasiveness and credibility. However, Ding Xiaoping's "search" is not simply the search for historical materials, he also has a more important "search", that is, the "search" for the "soul" of the Communist Party of China. The "soul" of the party was cast at the time of the birth of the Communist Party of China, and this is the "original intention" of the party, so we are now repeatedly saying "do not forget the original heart." To find the soul is to find the original heart. The search for the soul is, in fact, to re-study the history of the Party and the Purpose of the Party. It can be said that Ding Xiaoping completely regarded such an opportunity to write as an opportunity to re-study the party history and the party constitution, and this book can also be regarded as a study experience and an examination answer sheet that Ding Xiaoping submitted after conscientiously studying party history.

Ding Xiaoping also gave full play to the advantages of literary imagination and filled the gaps left in the historical narrative with imagination. This naturally makes the narrative more vivid and graphic, but I think these imaginations are sometimes another way of expressing his learning experience. For example, when he wrote that when Mao Zedong went to Shanghai to meet Chen Duxiu in 1920, he wrote in detail the content of the dialogue between the two men, obviously, these dialogues were imagined by Ding Xiaoping, and these contents are not so much a reproduction of historical truth as ding Xiaoping's harvest after studying party history, and he expressed his learning gains and experiences in the form of historical dialogue between the two great men. Judging from the whole book, the first volume of "Red Ship Splitting Wave Line" focuses on writing his search for historical materials. The next volume, "Spirit Gathering People's Hearts", is mainly written from the perspective of memorization, which mainly writes about the process of finding the "red boat" after the founding of New China. The context and rhythm of the memorization can clearly be seen that Ding Xiaoping made a trade-off from his own learning experience, that is to say, Ding Xiaoping's "search" for the soul of the party constitutes the main body of the next volume. Ding Xiaoping's learning experience is very profound, and there are many wonderful thoughts. For example, Jiaxing's five-color view: "Jiaxing's red is the natural color of the revolution, Jiaxing's yellow is the color of history, Jiaxing's green is the bright color of development, Jiaxing's blue is a harmonious color, and Jiaxing's cyan is the background color of humanities." The five colors of Jiaxing are colorful and colorful, and the five colors of Jiaxing are even more wonderful. There are also sentences like this: "Faith is the direction and the method; faith is the original intention and mission." "Only by not forgetting the original can we open up the future, and only by being good at inheritance can we innovate better." There is both history and thought, and thinking is the result of Ding Xiaoping's search in the long river of history. These achievements illuminate history.

In short, "The Red Boat Sets Sail" is an excellent homework for a Communist Party member to study Party history, and it is also an excellent teaching material for many Party members to study Party history.

Dan's heart to the red boat The original heart is as solid as a rock

At the intersection of the "two hundred years" history, and the spring when we were eagerly awaiting the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, I saw Ding Xiaoping's long-form reportage "The Red Boat Sets Sail" (published by Zhejiang Education Publishing House in July 2021). On the cover of this beautifully bound book, the following line is conspicuously printed: "In the form of reportage, this book tells you truthfully, vividly, and completely about how the Communist Party of China was founded." How was the CCP's Congress convened? How was the Spirit of the Red Boat proposed and promoted? How was the South Lake Revolution Memorial built? "It is true that this is a good supplement to our commemoration of the centenary of the founding of the Party and the study and education of Party history.

"The Red Ship Sets Sail" is a work of major revolutionary historical themes, involving many characters, a large number of events, spanning a hundred years, and the north of Vietnam, it can be imagined that when writing, its layout is extremely difficult. However, the author is quite ingenious, dividing the work into two volumes, the first volume "Red Boat Splitting Wave Line", which describes the before and after the party's first major meeting; the second volume, "Spirit Gathering People's Hearts", writes the inheritance and development of the red boat spirit, that is, the great party founding spirit. In particular, the author chooses the "cut-in" point when writing from a unique perspective, and inks the "finishing touch", so that this long work of more than 400,000 words is integrated and completed in one go.

Readers may not think that the title of the first section of this reportage work with strong political theory is "Teacher Xiao Wang" from Jiaxing to Shanghai. Who is Teacher Xiao Wang? Who did she come to Shanghai to find? Does this have anything to do with the party's congress? Is it related to the Red Boat? ...... Don't worry, if you read on, you will know that this young and beautiful little teacher Wang Huiwu is called Wang Huiwu, and she came to Shanghai to find her cousin Mao Dun, who is two years older than her, and asked him to find a job for her in Shanghai. Soon, she met Li Da at Chen Duxiu's home, and fell in love with Li Da and married him. When Li Da and they held a major party meeting in Shikumen and were harassed by the patrols of the French Concession and needed to change to a safe place, it was Wang Huiwu who first went to Jiaxing South Lake to rent a boat; when a large number of deputies met in the cabin to discuss and adopt the party's first "Program" and "Resolution," she sat alone on the bow of the boat to "put up the guard" and was a big "defender" of the party. It was not until 1959 that the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall went to Beijing to find the old man Wang Huiwu in order to make a red boat, and after her recollection, the appearance of the red boat was determined. The author takes the plot of this "Little Teacher Wang" to Shanghai as the "entry point" of this work, which is both logical and very clever. With such a good beginning, next, the work narrates that "Nan Chen Bei Li" rushed to prepare for the founding of the party, and Mao Zedong and Dong Biwu, who participated in the party's major congress, appeared one by one... "Breaking new ground, this is the longest day in the history of Jiaxing", "a big party was born on a small boat", "The ship of the Chinese Communist Party leading the Chinese revolution set sail from Jiaxing, chopping waves and chopping waves..." The reader follows the author's brilliant brush and returns to the scene of history of that year...

At the end of the previous volume, the author writes: "The red boat splits the waves, and the spirit gathers people's hearts." From Shanghai Xingye Road to Jiaxing South Lake, from the First Party Congress to the Nineteenth National Congress of the Party, from 1921 to 2021, for 100 years, for the sake of this groundbreaking great cause, the Chinese Communists have always strengthened their ideals and convictions regardless of the wind and waves, are not afraid of rapids and dangerous shoals, and with the fearless heroism of overwhelming all enemies and overcoming all difficulties, the big ship that is determined to promote the Cause of China's revolution and construction will chop the waves, lead China, and constantly forge ahead..." In this way, the author leads us into the next volume of his works." Spirit gathers hearts and minds".

New China was founded, Jiaxing South Lake became a revolutionary holy land, people are looking for the red boat in the historical storm, people want to copy the red boat in the soul, the birthplace of the great party Oh, without you, where there will be Chinese people bright and brilliant today! As a result, people came to Jiaxing South Lake to "make a pilgrimage" to visit the cradle of the party, the sacred and mysterious red boat. Visitors flock to the city... That year, when Chairman Mao Zedong was passing through Jiaxing by a special train, he told the special train to stop and look through the car window, "He pointed to the blue and vast South Lake outside the window and said: 'In 1921, our Communist Party of China was proclaimed on a cruise ship in the South Lake. We must not forget this boat. Although the ship is small, it can play a big role and will lead our country forward! That year, "the spring rain was misty, and the smoke and rain were clear." After a 43-year absence, Dong Biwu returned to the South Lake where he was thinking about it. "He and his wife, He Lianzhi, boarded the red boat and took a group photo at the bow of the boat." At the guest house of the Jiaxing County CPC Committee, Dong Biwu was overwhelmed with emotion and couldn't help himself, so he spilled ink impromptuly and inscribed a poem for the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall entitled "Visiting Jiaxing on the Qingming Festival and Visiting the Smoke and Rain Building". It is the Qingming Festival, and the smoke and rain are obscured to visit the old tracks. That year, Deng Xiaoping gladly wrote a plaque for Jiaxing with the inscription "Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall"...

On October 31, 2017, just one week after the conclusion of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping led the members of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Central Committee to travel from Beijing to Shanghai and Jiaxing to visit the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai and the red boat in Jiaxing South Lake, review the history of the founding of the Party, and relive the oath of joining the Party. He said: "The site of the First Party Congress in Shanghai and the red boat on the South Lake in Jiaxing are the places where our party's dream sets sail. Our Party was born from here, marched out from here, and went to the ruling of the whole country from here. Here is the root of our party. He also said: "The little red boat carries thousands of junks, sows the seeds of the Chinese revolution, and opens the cross-century voyage of the Communist Party of China." He summed up the "red boat spirit" as "the pioneering spirit of breaking new ground and daring to be the first, the spirit of firm ideals and indomitable struggle, and the spirit of dedication to building the party for the public and being loyal to the people." As a result, the "Red Boat Spirit" was widely spread in the land of China, and it entered thousands of households and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

Here, the author of the book excavated many moving stories through his own interviews with the grassroots masses, such as: one is "the red boat family, two generations of south lake feelings", the father Zhang Xinzhi is the "red housekeeper" of the red boat, guarding the red boat for 33 years in the wind and rain; the mother Xu Jinqiao and the daughter Zhang Yi are the gold medal docents of the red boat, telling the story of the red boat to thousands of visitors. Another story is that during the construction of the second generation of the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall, an anonymous letter from a middle school student and a donation of 5 yuan were received. The letter said, "Although I only have 5 yuan, this also shows my feelings for Jiaxing." Later, after an inspection, it was learned that the 13-year-old female student, Yu Qunfang, asked her why she donated money to the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall, she said: "Listen to Grandma, our family used to be very bitter, and now we are living a good life, thanks to the Communist Party." This is the author's "finishing touch" when he writes about the "spiritual gathering of people's hearts" in this work.

I am 92 years old this year, and after reading Ding Xiaoping's "The Red Boat Sets Sail", I was very moved, accompanied by my daughter, to visit and study at the History Exhibition Hall of the Communist Party of China. In the message office, I wrote a small poem: "A piece of Dan's heart to the red boat, riding the wind and waves for generations." The people's well-being is full, and they will be able to reach the other shore. At the end of "The Red Ship Sets Sail", Ding Xiaoping can't help but write himself into it. He wrote affectionately in the afterword: "Through a hundred years, the most beautiful is the original heart." In the days of the Jiaxing interview, in the days of writing "The Red Boat Sets Sail", I read the history of the party in the past century, read the past of the red ship, and traced the footprints of a major representative of the CPC, which is also a journey of seeking, listening, revisiting and adhering to the original intention, and it is an ideological baptism of self-education, self-purification, and self-improvement. I believe that this also speaks to the heart of every reader.

Vividly explain the historical legend of the great spirit of party building

Wen 丨 Qin Yanhua

The Red Boat is the "mother ship" of the Chinese Communist Party. What the red boat represents and shows is the height of the times, the direction of development, the beacon of endeavor, and the spiritual monument that will never fade in the hearts of the sons and daughters of China. "The Red Boat Sets Sail" created by military writer Ding Xiaoping is the first comprehensive, vivid and vivid work in the form of reportage to praise the great founding spirit of the party around the unique red logo of the red boat.

"The red boat splits the waves, and the spirit gathers people's hearts." The concept of "Red Boat Departure" is very exquisite, and the beginning of the book, "Teacher Xiao Wang came to Shanghai from Jiaxing", is very unexpected. What people did not expect was that such a major revolutionary theme first appeared as a "small person" Wang Huiwu. Through literary and storytelling image depiction, the author not only explains the relationship between Wang Huiwu and the famous writer Mao Dun, but also lays the groundwork for the later entry of the red ship into history, thus guiding the reader to focus on one place, which is Jiaxing, Zhejiang, where the red ship set sail. Then, the author wrote "The Commander-in-Chief of the May Fourth Movement Returns to Shanghai from Beijing," which not only explains the relationship between the "big man" Chen Duxiu and the "little man" Wang Huiwu, but also advances layer by layer like peeling an onion, and in accordance with historical logic and chronological order, naturally writes about the spread of Marxism since the May Fourth Movement, the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the convening of the CPC Congress. When Wang Huiwu appeared again because of the accidental attack of the "Bao Detective" in the concession, which led to a major force to find a new site, Wang Huiwu appeared again, and the "red boat" in Jiaxing South Lake was thus chosen by history. Reading this, we understand why the author first let Wang Hui realize the good intentions of appearing at the beginning of this book. Later, the author mentioned Wang Huiwu when describing the preparation of the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall in Jiaxing. It is precisely according to Wang Huiwu's recollection that the "red boat" that people see now is imitated.

"The Red Boat Sets Sail" is a work that is very worthy of our serious reading, which runs through literature, history and scholarship, with small views and small knowledge, but step by step leads us into the depths of history, climbs the commanding heights of history, appreciates the open scenery of history, and shows the author's superb structural ability and narrative level. It is mainly manifested in the following four writings: First, the professional writing of history. With the style of a historian and the attitude of zhishi, the author conducts exclusive research through dialectical analysis methods such as comparison, collusion, and collision, so that historical materials can be elaborated on each other, as close as possible to the truth of history, and very patiently review history and reality, so as to achieve an accurate description and generalization of history. The second is figurative writing. From 1921 to 2021, in the 100 years, there are a large number of important events, important nodes, and important characters, and the author has seen people and seen things, especially the accident and inevitability in the choice of the road are written very thoroughly, and the vicissitudes of the fate of the characters are written. The third is problem writing. In the book, the author deliberately sets up a lot of potential questions, while constantly posing questions and answering questions, such as why Vyginsky came to China, why did he find Chen Duxiu, and whether Bao Huisheng is an official representative of the Ccp, how Zhang Guotao, who is in Beijing, and Li Hanjun in Shanghai jointly wrote letters to Chen Duxiu in Guangzhou, and so on, so that readers can follow him to find answers. The fourth is ideological writing. Ding Xiaoping is a highly recognizable writer who has always pursued a "literary, historical, academic cross-border cross-genre" writing style. In his works, he also allows himself to stand up and express individual opinions, thus making the work original. This not only fully reflects the writer's writing skills, but also reflects the historical responsibility and the era responsibility of the writer's "great country".

A small red boat opened the Chinese Communist Party's cross-century voyage. The little red boat that carried the hope of the nation 100 years ago has now become a mighty ship carrying the hopes of more than 1.4 billion Chinese people. The title of "The Red Boat Sets Sail" is full of allegories, not only retracing the history of the founding of the party, but also revealing for the first time the process of the red boat spirit from being proposed to carrying forward, and using the story of generations of communists to continue the red blood, vividly and concretely explaining the great party founding spirit. The whole book closely follows the past and present lives of the red boat, and with affectionate words and respectful brushstrokes, it not only restores the historical picture of the revolutionary pioneers struggling to find the Marxist road and establish the Communist Party of China, but also records the touching story of the people of Zhejiang continuing the red roots and moving toward common prosperity; it not only creates the glorious image of Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, Mao Zedong, and other major founders of the party who are determined to save the country and the people, and selflessly and fearlessly pursue ideals, but also show the emotional responsibility of generations of nanhu sons and daughters in researching and building red boats and building the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall. It can be called a vivid sample of transforming thematic discourse into professional discourse and literary discourse.

In general, through solid interviews, research and narration, "The Red Boat Sets Sail" extends the historical span from 1921 to 2021 for a full 100 years, and the writers have not written and spoken, not only for the red Jiaxing, but also for the red boat, it is a biography of the red boat spirit, and it is also a historical masterpiece that explains the great founding spirit of the party, so that readers can draw rich ideological nutrition from history and feel the light of the new era in reality.
