In December 1941, the Pacific War broke out, the Japanese army occupied Hong Kong, and a large number of patriotic democrats and well-known cultural figures in the mainland were trapped. Under the instructions of Zhou Enlai, the Dongjiang guerrillas quickly organized a secret rescue, which lasted 11 months, traveled nearly 10,000 miles, and involved more than 10 provinces and cities. In the end, more than 800 cultural elites and patriotic democrats all escaped safely, creating a miracle that shocked China and the rest of the world. Wu Fusheng, director of the Guangdong Music Research Office of the Guangzhou Institute of Literary and Artistic Creation, a first-class art researcher, and the author of "The Great Rescue", revealed that he has carried out a lot of historical research work.
