On April 27, published by Zhejiang People's Publishing House, written by Wang Huimin (pen name Lao Han), president and editor-in-chief of Guangming Daily, and co-created by Xing Yuhao, Wang Simin and Lu Zehua, the long-form reportage work "Shenshan Spark" was officially launched in Beijing, and the seminar was held simultaneously at the China Modern Literature Museum in Beijing.

The book is nearly 200,000 words, and is divided into 15 chapters, including "When the Long Night Is Endless", "The Red Army Came to Shenshan Village", "Poverty Alleviation Does Not Stop", and "Searching for Relatives, and the Road is Long". The author's team has lived and produced with the villagers several times over the years, recorded a large number of text and picture materials, and vividly and exhaustively told the development process of Shenshan Village, Maoping Town, Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, from the old society to the new chapter of common prosperity.
As one of the members of the main creative team, Wang Simin remembered that after the publication of "Three Days in Shenshan Village", a reader's message "Only with the feelings of the people can we write splendid articles" touched her. "Our team has a very deep affection for the mountain, the water, and the people in Shenshan Village, and when we talk about the names of those people, our hearts are warm. She said that this kind of feeling comes from immersive squatting, research, and interviews, and they are completely integrated with the villagers, no matter under the sunset, under the rising sun, by the stream, in the fields, as long as they meet, chat, help, even if they eat a yellow peach of the villagers, drink a scoop of cool mountain spring they scoop over, they can harvest materials.
"It's a small village, with less than 70 households and more than 200 people, and we talk from house to house with a roster. Wang Simin found that these ordinary and simple villagers like dirt have many extraordinary and shining points on their bodies. "When we found the clues of the Seven Martyrs, we wanted to take responsibility for continuing and promoting the continuation of the red bloodline, so we launched a family search. ”
Xing Yuhao recalled the interview experience in the past few years, and lamented that the most difficult thing in the whole creative process was that there were already hundreds of reports about Shenshan Village at that time. The history, culture and traditions of Jinggangshan and Shenshan Village have influenced the people here to work hard. Xing Yuhao used fieldwork to visit the villagers one by one, "We also have a family tree of Shenshan Village, which helped them correct some questions. ”
It's a creative form of interview writing
At the seminar, Huang Chuanhui, a well-known reportage writer, said, "This is a reportage written by four well-known journalists, and the seminars we usually attend tend to be written by writers and reporters write less. In his opinion, good news reports are out, good reportage is out, the author of Shenshan Village has done enough homework on the interview, through in-depth and solid interviews, the process of Shenshan Village after the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially the setbacks and hardships in the precise poverty alleviation and tough battles, are written with twists and turns, which is exciting.
Huang Chuanhui's biggest impression is that this book has a high position, a large pattern, and a wide field of vision, and the authors put the great changes in Shenshan Village, an ordinary mountain village, in the context of China's revolutionary history and development history, linking the fate of the mountain village and the country, and the ordinary Shenshan Village has also become a microcosm of the country. There are two lines running through the whole book, one is the history of the struggle of the Red Army, bloody battles, and the other is the history of the development of Shenshan Village, which is full of hardships and hardships, and the two lines are intertwined and complement each other, becoming a powerful spiritual force for the villagers of Shenshan to dig up the roots of poverty and change their destiny. He believes that this kind of large-scale pattern and wide vision greatly enhances the spiritual quality and cultural connotation of the work.
He Shaojun, vice president of the Chinese Contemporary Literature Research Association, said that reportage is known as the report of the times and one of the elements of news, so it also requires authors to have a keen sense of journalism. The four authors of "Kinabalu Spark" give full play to this journalistic awareness. "More importantly, they're creative in their writing. That is, part of the content of this book is to write the history of the Red Revolution and poverty alleviation in Shenshan Village, and the other part is to write about the search for relatives in the cemetery of martyrs in Shenshan Village. He Shaojun said that on the surface, this part of the content is not related to the author's original goal of the interview is to interview the poverty alleviation work, but in fact, he is a kind of exploration of the poverty alleviation work in depth, a kind of creative interview writing.
He Shaojun also pointed out that "Sparks on the Sacred Mountain" is a work with sincere feelings, although the authors are reporters, they do not collect materials and write in accordance with the principles of objectivity, impartiality and independence of reporters, but completely integrate into the life and emotions of the interviewees, and truly achieve heart-to-heart with the interviewees, as if they are a family.
