After the event, an audience member asked me, saying that I have no talent, but I like writing very much, can I eat the bowl of writing?
In fact, similar questions have been asked a lot over the years. I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate once again: if you don't have talent, you can definitely eat the bowl of writing! And I am a real example.
Needless to say, talent does provide a certain advantage in writing and is easy to achieve, but talent is not the only condition for success. Just imagine, no matter how talented you are, you lie flat every day, where does success come from?
To go further on the path of writing, you must understand the following key points.
1. Persistence and hard work. I believe that consistent writing practice and constant effort are more important than talent. After all, in this world, there are only a very small number of people who are gifted, and most people have similar levels of intelligence. By reading, writing, and thinking constantly, the level of writing can be gradually improved. The so-called Ku Ding to solve the cow, only familiar with the hand.
2. Learning and imitation. By learning the structure, style, and techniques of good writing, and trying to imitate them, you can quickly improve your writing skills. This method is known as "deliberate practice" and is an effective way to improve your writing skills. Countless practices have proven that most successful writers have gone through a long period of grinding and continuous attempts in order to be richly rewarded.
6. Establish a business mindset. In modern society, it is definitely not enough to just bury your head in work. It's the same with writing, you have to build a business mindset and know how to sell yourself and good content. Without proper marketing, good works will also be buried, and it will be difficult to generate commercial value. After all, if you want to eat the bowl of writing, you can't avoid the problem of making money!
In conclusion, although it is true that talent will bring some help to writing, it is entirely possible for people who do not have talent to improve their writing skills through perseverance, continuous learning and practice, deep understanding of human nature, and mastery of writing methods, and ultimately achieve success in writing.
