Han Zidong was one of them, and after joining the Communist Party, he infiltrated the "Blue Jacket Society", a Kuomintang secret service organization, but unfortunately, he was arrested by the agents half a year later.
However, Han Zidong did not give in, but relied on his own wisdom, disguised as crazy, let the guards' agents relax their vigilance, successfully escaped from the White Mansion, and ended 14 years of prison life, so how did Han Zidong blind the guards and successfully escape? What kind of life did he live afterwards?
Han Zidong: You really caught the wrong person
Born in a family of declining landlords, Han Zidong received a new ideological education, and came to Beijing as an adult with the ideal of saving the country, wanting to learn and explore the road to national salvation.
At that time, the underground party members of our party in Beiping observed that Han Zidong had a heart burning with patriotism, so they absorbed Han Zidong as an underground party member and gave him a very difficult task.
At that time, in order to maintain autocratic rule and sabotage the underground organization of our party, the Kuomintang established the "Blue Jacket Society" in Beiping, which was specially used to deal with the Communists, that is, the predecessor of military unification.
But what they did not expect was that Communists like Han Zidong would be able to break into the "Blue Shirt Society" and monitor their every move.

However, due to the increasingly rampant reactionary acts of the Kuomintang, the underground party organization in Peiping was seriously damaged, and at that time, Han Zidong had only been in the "Blue Jacket Society" for only half a year, and he was also arrested because he suspected that he was a communist, but although he was brutally beaten by reactionary agents, he still refused to admit that he was a communist, so his charges could not be conclusively determined.
Han Zidong knew in his heart that once he admitted that he was a Communist, he would inevitably be tortured even more cruelly, and even forced to ask him about the information of the Communist Party, so although he was beaten to death, he still had only one sentence:
"You have arrested the wrong person, I am really not a Communist Party!"
The agents could not get Han Zidong's confession, and in addition, there was no other definite evidence, and they were afraid that if they really beat Han Zidong to death, they would be considered by the above that they were also Han Zidong's accomplices and were carrying out the extermination, so they put Han Zidong on the hat of a "serious disciplinarian" and threw him into prison.

Han Zidong knew that at this time, he was listed as a key suspect, and it would be more difficult to escape than to ascend to the heavens, but he made up his mind that no matter how much torture he suffered, he would never say a word about Communist Intelligence.
In the following years, Han Zidong was transferred to another prison by the reactionaries many times, and each time he was transferred to a new prison, he had to be brutally interrogated, but he never gave in, but persevered with unimaginable willpower.
Because Han Zidong never recognized his identity as a Communist Party member, coupled with the fact that he himself behaved honestly and obediently in order to paralyze the enemy when he was in prison, and sometimes in order to make others not realize that his spirit was still normal, he also had to pretend to behave abnormally.
For example, talking to himself, or suddenly starting to cry and laugh, but when others tell him to work, he will show hard work and resentment, which is completely a look of serious mental stimulation and madness and stupidity. When the prison saw Han Zidong like this, it slowly relaxed its vigilance against him.
Han Zidong later became friends with many of his fellow prisoners who were also Communists and plotted to escape from prison, but under the conditions at that time, it was very difficult to escape from prison. Because they were imprisoned in the Kuomintang's murderous devil's cave White Mansion, which was located in the middle of nowhere, not only was the military and police heavily guarded, but also plugged into the power grid around them.
Even so, Han Zidong knew in his heart that if he did not find an opportunity to escape, he would be killed in this cage sooner or later, so he continued to pretend to be crazy and paralyzed the enemy, and at the same time plotted with the communists in prison how to escape.

Han Zidong initially thought that it was best to escape together, but everyone escaped together, the goal was obviously too big, and it was not easy to implement, it was better to escape one person, as long as one of them escaped, they could contact the party organization to carry out rescue. It's just that in the White Mansion, which is no less than the hell on earth, Han Zidong wants to escape alone, and it is not easy.
Guard: Even if the crazy old man is let go by us, he will run back again
In order to further convince the enemy that he was really crazy, Han Zidong often talked nonsense in his mouth, even saying something that the bull's head was not right for the horse's mouth, and even sometimes raised the soil on the ground to himself.

Han Zidong wanted to exercise, but also wanted to remain a madman in the eyes of others, in order to hide his true intentions, so he began to run around the tree every day and began to run non-stop.
When the guards saw Han Zidong like this, they thought that the madness of this crazy old man had worsened again, so they let him keep running around the tree, sometimes with sluggish eyes and nonsense.
In the dark, Han Zidong also secretly drew up a topographic map of Chongqing according to his own memory, planning to escape from this living hell at a suitable opportunity.

Han Zidong behaved honestly and obediently every time he followed the agents to buy something, so the agents slowly relaxed their vigilance against him, often taking him and letting him help with some chores such as carrying things. Han Zidong knew in his heart that only when he showed mental abnormality could he let this group of demons relax their guards on him, and he would have a chance to escape.
However, when Han Zidong planned to escape from prison, he also considered a very realistic and serious problem, that is, he was wearing a prison uniform, once he escaped, as long as the agents began to hunt, it was easy to be recognized and then arrested, so Han Zidong believed that if he wanted to successfully escape from prison, he must get a set of clothes worn by ordinary people to have a chance to escape.
In order to have a set of civilian clothes for escape, Han Zidong found Xu Linxia, a Communist Party member who was also detained in prison, the mother of Song Zhenzhong, the "little turnip head", to help him make a dress.
In order to help Han Zidong escape, Xu Linxia took on this arduous task, and she relied on her tenacious perseverance to make clothes for Han Zidong under extremely difficult conditions.
When Han Zidong received the clothes made by Xu Linxia, he was very touched in his heart, and promised Xu Linxia to say:
"If I escape, I will definitely let the People's Liberation Army come and rescue you!"

However, what Han Zidong did not expect was that although he thought that he was pretending to be crazy and stupid all the time, many secret agents thought that he was really a madman, and they regarded him as a free coolie, or even as a tool for pastime to tease, but his pretend to be crazy was still recognized by a treacherous and vicious secret service leader, that is, Shen Drunk, who was the director of the General Affairs Office of the Military Command at that time.

Fortunately, Han Zidong finally waited for such an opportunity in his 14th year after he was imprisoned. It was a hot summer, and the guard Lu Zhaochun once again took Han Zidong to the street to buy things, because Han Zidong usually behaved very obediently, so when he went out to buy things, he usually let Han Zidong take the money.
Lu Zhaochun and another small follower guard took Han Zidong on the street to buy something, and happened to run into his old friend, so Lu Zhaochun went in with the card friend to play cards, and let Han Zidong and the little follower wait outside the door.
After successfully escaping from danger, my wife asked: Who are you?
Han Zidong saw that Lu Zhaochun's interest in playing cards was very strong, and knowing that he had encountered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he hid the excitement in his heart and handed all the money in his pocket to the small follower next to him, saying:
"It's so hot, you go buy some watermelon for the governor to eat."
When the little follower saw so much money, he thought that this crazy old man couldn't calculate the amount of money, and this money bought watermelon and he could get some kickbacks, so he went happily.
But Han Zidong saw that there was no one around, so he put down the towel and fan in his hand, pretended that he would come back soon when he went out to the toilet, and then quickly ran to a secluded place, took off his prison clothes, changed into civilian clothes, and successfully escaped.

When Lu Zhaochun heard xiao heels say that Han Zidong had run away, he was suddenly shocked in his heart, and he thought that there were military commanders' eyeliners everywhere, and Han Zidong was alone, and he would definitely not be able to run out of Chongqing's Tianluodi net, so he immediately went back to report to his superiors.
When Shen Drunk heard that the "crazy old man" Han Zidong whom he saw a few days ago had actually escaped, he immediately sent someone to chase him down, Shen Drunk thought that Han Zidong was a communist, and if he ran away, he would definitely go to find a party organization, so he desperately searched for Han Zidong in Chengdu and Guizhou, but found nothing.

After Han Zidong escaped, he did not go to the Liberated Area of Northern Sichuan, because he knew that he could not speak the local native language, and his northern accent was very eye-catching in the crowd, which was easy to attract the attention of others, so he turned to the north, experienced all kinds of difficulties along the way, and also met the help of many well-meaning people, and arrived at the North China Liberated Area safely.
When the comrades in the Liberated Areas of North China met Han Zidong, they all admired his perseverance in the face of 14 years of imprisonment, and finally used his wisdom to successfully escape death.

Before Han Zidong left, the comrades asked him what his requirements were, and Han Zidong thought that so many of our Communists had been persecuted to death by the Kuomintang, and he himself almost died at the hands of the Kuomintang many times, so he gritted his teeth and said:
"I want to live a few more years and see Chiang Kai-shek's Chiang family dynasty completely destroyed!"
When He was in prison before, he thought he would never have the opportunity to return to the embrace of his hometown, but now he has finally successfully left the prison and returned to his hometown.
After Han Zidong returned to his hometown, the first thing he wanted to see was his wife, because he had dreamed of her countless times in prison and did not know how she was now.
After Han Zidong knocked on his door, he couldn't help but be shocked, after so many years, his wife was no longer what he remembered, and had become a slightly old, haggard woman.
The wife obviously did not recognize Han Zidong, on the one hand, she thought that Han Zidong had already passed away, on the other hand, the old man in front of her and the husband in her memory were too different, so the wife could not speak for a while, and the old half-genius jumped out of a sentence:
"Who are you?"
When Han Zidong heard this, tears also flowed out, and he said to his wife:
"I'm Han Zidong!"
At this time, the wife carefully observed the appearance of the old man in front of her, and then determined that it was her husband, and the wife immediately burst into tears, which contained both more than ten years of grievances and excitement about the safe return of her husband Han Zidong.

Han Zidong knew that his wife and daughter had suffered a lot, so he comforted them and said that they would be fine after liberation.
When New China was founded, he felt very uncomfortable thinking about the Communist Party members who died in prison, thinking about how good it would be if they could see the founding of New China.
After liberation, Han Zidong also became the deputy secretary of the Guiyang Municipal Party Committee, and the drunkenness that persecuted him and many of our Communists was later imprisoned in the Gongdelin War Criminals Management Center.

When Shen Drunk said the reason, Han Zidong couldn't help but admire that Shen Drunk's eyes were indeed very poisonous, and it was really a fluke that he was able to escape.
