Among them, there is a major figure who is familiar to everyone, Hua Ziliang, whose life experience refers to the archetype of a historical figure, a Red Revolutionary ancestor named Han Zidong.
The period was turbulent, and the people at that time had a strong sense of mission, but those who had sweated for the revolution, which one to choose was not a novel-like life. Han Zidong is one of the most emblematic.
Han Zidong was born in 1908 in Yanggu County, Shandong Province. In 1930, Han Zidong went to Beiping to study, because of his poor family, Han Zidong was so far away from his hometown that he came to the big city of Beiping, and had to work while studying, while earning money to pay tuition and support himself.
At that time, in addition to attending lectures, Han Zidong often worked in bookstores. He was often working as a clerk in a bookstore, and it was during his time at this bookstore that he had the privilege of recognizing the existence of an underground party organization, and officially entered the organization in 1932 as an underground party member.
Since Han Zidong's student identity was not easy to doubt, he was soon ordered to break into the enemy's interior, and the identity of the ostensible student provided him with a lot of convenience for his lurking mission.
So he successfully rose into the enemy's interior and collected a lot of important intelligence for the underground party organization of the CCP. But after only two years, under the crazy bite of the Secret Service Bureau, the underground party organization in Beiping was tragically attacked, and many underground party members were forced to be exposed. As a result, Han Zidong, who was more active in the organization, was also unfortunately arrested.
As soon as the enemies were verified, they began to be angry with the "red spy" who had successfully penetrated into their interior.
They not only arrested Han Zidong, but also detained him in solitary confinement, especially "caring."
The methods of the Central Command's Special Bureau are probably familiar to everyone in many film and television works and novels, but no matter how inhumane the abuse and how brutal torture, they cannot extract any useful information from the mouth of this resolute revolutionary fighter.
Is Han Zidong really not in pain? How could it be!
In such a dark and narrow cell, day and night of persecution, all kinds of torture and various wounds of all sizes, in such an environment, people not only endure physical pain, but also will be extremely fragile mentally in the long run. But these Han Zidong all survived, and what supported him was the faith in his heart!
Therefore, in the face of Han Zidong, a hard bone who did not enter the oil and salt and strictly guarded his mouth, the final interrogation guan could not ask half a word, and even the secret service bureau could not do anything about it.
In the end, Han Zidong, who had lost his value, was charged with being a political prisoner and put into a life cell.
Later, after a period of wandering, Han Zidong was taken into custody at the White Mansion, when the negotiations between the Kuomintang and the Communists had not broken down, and the Chiang family dynasty still maintained a superficial false decency. They arrested a large number of CCP revolutionary Communist Party members, who were jointly imprisoned together, and did not prevaricate, lose or lose hope of rebirth during their imprisonment, and they built a new prison branch.
Because of revolutionary faith, even in the dark? Even the darkness is only the night before dawn.
At that time, they secretly planned together, wanted to escape from prison en masse, and even if they could not, they should try their best to escape from one by one, in order to expose to the public the evil crimes of the Secret Concentration Camp conducted by the Central Command, and to seek rescue for their comrades.
It was not until 1946 that political prisoners were transferred to the scum cave in Chongqing.
At this time, the Kuomintang and the Communists were in a final decisive battle, the War of Liberation began, and under the expectations of the people, the Kuomintang was even more defeated. So in this dark and evil place, the Kuomintang continued to assassinate and deal with the long-imprisoned revolutionaries, seeking to eliminate all their evidence of guilt.
Here, revolutionary martyrs, Che Yaoxian, and other comrades were successively taken out by prison guards for secret executions for various reasons, and before they left, they knew that this trip would be difficult to return, and they pinned their hopes on the remaining comrades-in-arms, warning the surviving comrades-in-arms that waiting for one more point was a threat to their own safety, and that life was the capital of the revolution and that they must live!
And they are also well aware that since the safety of collective jailbreak is extremely low, at least we "escape one by one".
Jailbreaking under strict guard is not a simple small action.
First of all, for long-term prisoners, physical fitness is the biggest challenge, but there is only a small cell, and the most they do is to take the 8-character route in the cell, and they also join forces in prison to launch an "indoor trip".
Maybe at that time, everyone felt that as long as there was hope, as long as they could persevere, they could get rid of this bitter land. But they forgot that the Jiang family dynasty eats people and does not spit bones!
Later, everyone was separated one by one, and some people left and never came back.
Later, Han Zidong was escorted to the White Mansion for guarding, which was not only densely walled, but also set up a rotating guard and a tight power grid, and it was not easy to escape in such an environment.
In order to hide his identity as a communist, Han Zidong pretended to be crazy and stupid in the rain all day, or sat in a daze, and when he saw the guards, he laughed for a while and shouted loudly for a while.
Gradually the handlers in the rain thought he had been locked up for too long and had gone mad. Occasionally he ran around the courtyard, and there were not so many people to take care of him, but sometimes the guards would deliberately release him in order to tease him. No matter what the weather, as long as he can have the opportunity, Han Zidong will desperately run back and forth in the courtyard to improve his physical strength.
Therefore, Han Zidong's successful disguise greatly lowered the vigilance of the guards against him, so in the whole prison, Han Zidong was relatively free compared with many other inmates. Sometimes they are called by the guards to do coolies and go out with the guards to buy vegetables.
And Han Zidong did not forget the decision of the branch for a minute: don't seize the opportunity, you must escape! The calm of everything is that Han Zidong is waiting for the opportunity.
Finally, on August 18, 1947, Han Zidong went to Ciqikou with the guard Lu Zhaochun to buy vegetables. Han Zidong, who had long been carefully planning to escape, took advantage of the fact that when lu Zhaochun was lazy to play mahjong in the mahjong hall, he pretended to be crazy and said that he wanted to disarm, and Lu Zhaochun rushed outside the house in disgust and walked out in a generous manner.
As soon as they reached the field of vision of the gendarmes, they immediately galloped through the streets and alleys, ran through the routes they had memorized countless times in their minds, and finally rushed to the side of the Jialing River, and quickly crossed the Jialing River with a small wooden boat docked on the shore.
Relying on the physical strength he had exercised every day in the White Mansion, he traveled day and night, and after 45 days of long-distance trekking, he finally reached the liberated area and completely escaped the control of the enemy.
It had been 14 years since he had been arrested. According to recollections, during this 14-year long wait, Han Zidong's family had long thought that Han Zidong had passed away and had no hope for his return. When he kept remembering to find the door home, his wife greeted him, and for a moment she did not recognize him, and asked "Who are you"...
Because when his wife and children saw him, in their eyes, he was a "crazy old man" dressed in tattered clothes and disheveled.
As I can remember, my husband and father, who were young and clean at the time of their capture, seem to have nothing to do with each other. However, in Han Zidong's eyes, the children who were still crying and hungry in their memories have now grown into sensible teenagers, so that once they are in a trance, they have been away from home for 14 years! After learning the truth, the wives and children hugged Han Zidong tightly, and both of them burst into tears.
As the years passed, no one knew how Han Zidong had lived in the past fourteen years, and the family could not bear to listen. But even though he looked haggard and looked old, the vigorous and resolute temperament of Han Zidong was still there, and he didn't see the decadent state of being imprisoned for more than ten years.
It seems that these fourteen years of tribulations, instead of erasing Han Zidong's sense of faith, have polished him to a more tenacious one.
After 14 years of torture and imprisonment, still sober, and finally successfully escaped, such an example is really difficult to see, when asked by comrades, Han Zidong said: "Why don't you insist?" I wish I could have lived a few more years, until I could see the day when the Jiang family dynasty was completely overthrown! ”
After the liberation of China, Han Zidong wrote a manuscript to contribute to the Sino-US Cooperation Institute based on his 14 years of prison experience and various histories of imprisonment.
The manuscript directly and positively discloses the shocking crimes of the Kuomintang secret concentration camp, and experts agree that Han Zidong's manuscript helps to clarify the historical truth, is an important valuable cultural relic on the mainland, and will further study and verify the original price of the manuscript.
In the dim cell like a living tomb, there is no sun and moon, black and white, day and night, and the prisoners have no means to record time at all, and only when the sound of firecrackers Chinese New Year's Eve night sneaks into the cell, the prisoners are shocked and wonder: "It's another year." ”
Most of the people who are imprisoned in prison are people who are considered by the Central Special Bureau to have connections with the "reactionary forces of the CCP", including red revolutionaries like Han Zidong, but there are also some unrelated people who may have been arrested and imprisoned simply because they helped the revolutionaries' work or had previously sheltered the revolutionaries.
Agents often choose to arrest people in the middle of the night, and the people around them only dare to shrink in the room when they hear the voice, and dare not speak. If there were people who came out, they would even take the person who came out, directly with a gun to the back vest, and the two of them would put their arms around them, just like sinners, and they would be arrested in this way, without any human rights and dignity to speak of, as evidenced by the madness of the agents of the Central Command at that time.
When a "prisoner" goes to prison, he must first forget his name, and if he does not forget to be known by others, he will be punished. When entering the prison, the prison officer searched the ends of his hair to the toes, and then distributed numbers to each person, such as "9557", etc., to collect the numbers of prisoners who had lost their names. In order to intimidate the "prisoners", the prison guards also lied about the bugging device, saying that if they "secretly conspired" these things, they would be caught and shot.
However, according to Han Zidong's recollection, he once looked for it in prison with his comrades-in-arms— at first he believed that he thought their technology was very advanced, but in fact, I lacked this knowledge. ”
In addition, the brutal tricks of the agents and gendarmes in dealing with prisoners are endless.
When we who were born free later read these words, we can glimpse the evil and torture of the evil forces faced by the revolutionary ancestors at that time.
In such a painful inhuman treatment, for 14 years, I can still adhere to my original intention, keep sober and calm, and try to escape successfully, so long pretending to be crazy and stupid, so long recuperating, you can imagine, how firm and fearless faith is needed! That is the mind of a person who has been born in peace for the time of peace and has lived a peaceful life all his life, and no matter how he wants to break his head, he cannot understand.
In the era of revolutionary war, there were many legendary heroes like Han Zidong, who were fighting for the people, for the motherland, and fighting against the evil enemy. Many of them even left their lives in that red age. They are the fighters who opened up a stable and prosperous world for us, and the brave people who helped us save the mountains and rivers. It is they who have exchanged their lives and freedoms for peace and happiness. So no matter what kind of peaceful era we grew up in, we should not forget the blood and tears that were left in history!
