Jiang Dengxuan, zi chao liu, is a native of nangong city, Hebei Province. Together with Li Jinglin, Han Linchun, Zhang Zongchang and Guo Songling, he was known as the "Five Tiger Generals" under Zhang Zuolin. At the age of 23, he was sent by the officials to study in Japan, and after returning to China, he served under Zhu Qinglan, the commander of the Fengtian Patrol, and in 1922, Jiang Dengxuan was appointed by the Beiyang government as the general counselor of the Fengjun Army, which belonged to Zhang Zuolin.
The Fengjun army was divided into three major factions, one was the four beams and eight pillars (old school) that followed Zhang Zuolin's family, and there were Zhang Zuoxiang, Zhang Jinghui, Wu Junsheng, Tang Yulin, Sun Liechen and others, who controlled the main military and political forces at that time. Second, a group of graduates of the Japanese Non-Commissioned Officer School (Noncommissioned Officer Faction) headed by Yang Yuting, general counselor, included Jiang Dengxuan, Han Linchun, Yu Zhen, and others. Third, Zhang Xueliang vigorously supported Guo Songling (Lu Dapai), and most of the members graduated from the China Army University and the Baoding Officer School, and most of them held the positions of division commander and brigade commander. Due to the different educational concepts received by the non-commissioned officers and the Lu Da faction, the two factions have their own views on army building, and the two sides are openly fighting and secretly fighting, and Zhang Zuolin knows it, but he intends to let the two factions contain and compete with each other to facilitate their own control.
The contradiction between Jiang Dengxuan and Guo Songling began at this time, and the conflict between the two factions is difficult to reconcile. They all wanted to control the Feng army, rely on their faction's men and horses to grow under Zhang Zuolin's banner, and consolidate their own power.
In 1924, the second "Zhifeng War" broke out, and Jiang Dengxuan was appointed commander of the First Army of the Zhenwei Army, Han Linchun as the commander of the Second Army, and Guo Songling as the deputy commander of the Third Army (the commander was Zhang Xueliang).
In the Battle of jiumen, Guo Songling suspected that Jiang Deng's brigadier Chen Chen was instructed by Jiang Dengxuan to disobey the dispatches and delay the fighter, so Guo Songling asked that he be put on the spot. Jiang Dengxuan was frank in his heart, and he cherished the generals in peacetime, so he defended Brigadier Chen, and Guo Songling resolutely did not listen to this set. There was no way, Jiang Dengxuan found Guo Songling's student Zhang Xueliang, who was also the commander of the Third Army, to personally go to his knees and beg Guo Songling, Guo Songling only then spared Brigadier Chen of the death penalty and removed him from his post and locked him up.
In the battle for Shanhaiguan, Guo Songling broke through from the front of Shanhaiguan and attacked for several days without any effect. Jiang Dengxuan and Han Linchun advocated an attack from Shimenzhai and cut off the direct line of rear roads and supply lines through Qinhuangdao.
At the military conference, Zhang Xueliang proposed that five regiments from the 3rd Army be drawn under the personal command of Guo Songling to reinforce the battlefield on the flank of Shimenzhai. Although Jiang Dengxuan did not want the 3rd Army to "grab credit", he was forced to agree to this resolution by Zhang Xueliang's proposal.
At the end of the meeting, Han Linchun said intentionally or unintentionally on the side: "This plan is good, you can also show your face!" Because he was humiliating, Guo Songling, who was narrow-minded and arrogant, immediately said: "I Guo Someone never touches the light of others, but I still lead the 3rd Army to fight from the front." Jiang Dengxuan said: Destroying our overall plan, such a coming is exactly what should be done. Originally it was a joke, but Guo Songling understood that he should be executed according to military law and wanted to put himself to death, this sentence was told to Guo Songling by Zhang Xueliang, and the relationship between the two has since become worse.
After the end of the Zhifeng War, Zhang Zuolin "rewarded for meritorious deeds" and gave the Shandong overseer to Zhang Zongchang, the Jiangsu overseer to Yang Yuting, and the Anhui overseer to Jiang Dengxuan, while Guo Songling, who thought he had contributed the most, did not get any position, which caused Guo Songling's strong dissatisfaction.
On November 22, 1925, Guo Songling launched a mutiny in Luanzhou, opposed Ge And put forward three proposals: first, oppose the civil war and advocate peace; second, ask Zhang Zuolin to go to the wilderness and punish the culprit Yang Yuting; third, support Zhang Xueliang as the leader and reform the three eastern provinces.
Just as Jiang Dengxuan passed through Luanzhou Station, he was ready to persuade Guo Songling. Unexpectedly, after entering the city, he was detained, and Guo Songling urged him to jointly oppose it: "People are not enough, the heavens are cursed, as long as we join forces, we will fight a family, in the future the three eastern provinces will be our world, will not eat fragrant and drink spicy is not casual?" Why be subject to people! ”
Jiang Dengxuan not only did not follow, but instead scolded, "You wolf ambitious guy, white wearing a human skin, the marshal regards you as his own son, you are Wei Yan of the Three Kingdoms, there is a backbone behind your head!" Embarrassed and angry, Guo Songling ordered the guards to shoot Jiang Dengxuan, who had his hands tied behind his back, on the spot, buried him in a thin wooden coffin, and placed him in the wilderness.
On December 25, Guo Songling was defeated and killed. Han Linchun personally went to Luanzhou to give Jiang Dengqian a thick burial. When the coffin was opened, it was found that the rope that bound the remains' hands had been loosened, the upper cover of the coffin board was full of nail marks, jiang Dengxuan had several nails fall off, and the shot did not kill Jiang Dengxuan, he was suffocated alive in the coffin.
Seeing this scene, Han Linchun and others burst into tears, scolding Guo Songling for being inferior to pigs and dogs and narrow-minded. After Guo Songling died, the violent corpse for three days may be retribution!
