Li Shiqi volunteered to tell Liu Bang that he did not need to attack Chen Liu at all, but could do it by fighting his own "three inches of rotten tongue". Li Yiqi's lobbying skills were indeed successful, but Chen Liuxian Ling had been wavering because he was afraid of the harshness of Qin Law.

After arriving in the State of Qi, Li Yiqi relied on his three inches of incorruptible tongue to persuade Tian Guang, the King of Qi, and the State of Qi prepared to surrender to Liu Bang. It seems that everything is developing as expected. Han Xin weighed the pros and cons, and indeed felt that Pu Tong's suggestion was very good, so he led his army to launch a surprise attack on the State of Qi, and the Qi army was indeed defeated, and the King of Qi was also deeply angry and frightened. The King of Qi believed that Li Shiqi and Han Xin had joined forces to deceive themselves, playing themselves as monkeys, and Li Shiqi was also indefensible in the face of this situation, so he had Li Shiqi arrested and directly cooked to death.
Liu Bang's most powerful lobbyist, Li Shiqi, was thus killed by Han Xin. Afterwards, although Liu Bang was very sad, because it was the critical time to compete with Xiang Yu for the world, he still had to rely on Han Xin, so he did not say anything, but only gave Li Shiqi's son the title of Sorghum Hou. After Han Xin later took over the world by Liu Bang, he was also killed by Lü Hou, which can also be regarded as a kind of karma.
