Once upon a time, an old man talked to a Zen master about the way of life.
The old man said: "For the vast world, life is just a moment of vastness, and perhaps it is not even qualified to leave traces." Man, why should he live? ”
The Zen master said, "Everything has its original mission. When their mission is completed, let the descendants take on the mission. This earthly world will also be repeated. ”
The old man wondered, "From heaven and earth to individuals, ordinary people have a lot of wealth, many houses and land, does everything have the value of existence?" ”
The Zen master said slowly, "Everything is nothing." The beginning is nothing, and the result is nothing. Even if it is a process, it is nothing. External objects will eventually disappear one day, and only your heart and experience can last forever. ”
The old man sighed: "If a person lives for one lifetime, it will eventually be nothing, so isn't our life meaningless?" ”
The Zen master responded, "When a person is alive, it is a value. It's just that some people understand their own value, while some people live in desire and feel that everything is worthless. After all, a leaf obstruction is a common disease of people who have greed and anger. ”
"If there is a life that can be full of value, I think that kind of life must be a beautiful life with an indifferent attitude."
Life may be a cultivation. And what we have to do in cultivation is to cultivate our own "indifferent" mentality. Be calm, do things calmly, behave moderately, and live a good life.

It can be summed up in one sentence, because we are not satisfied, so we will never be happy.
I earned five thousand yuan a month, but when I saw that others earned tens of thousands of yuan a month, my heart was worried again. In the end, we will only live more and more painfully in the continuous comparison.
Just imagine, you earn 5,000 yuan a month, and you want to earn 10,000 yuan, and then 100,000 yuan, 1 million yuan... Can people still be happy about this endless desire?
Or, if we are living a small life of peace and stability, but we find that some relatives are particularly rich and live extremely luxurious lives, then we will compare ourselves and even recognize ourselves.
Other people have money, others are luxurious, that is someone else's business, what does it have to do with us?
We all know these truths, but we just can't see through it, we can't do it. why? Because we are not indifferent enough, we have been affected by external things. Therefore, anxiety, unhappiness and sorrow will become the norm for modern people.
People who have forgotten the "indifferent heart", even if he is worth tens of millions, or even more than 100 million, will become more and more anxious.

A lifetime of "indifference", a lifetime of well-being.
In this life, in the blink of an eye, it will come to an end. No matter how much desire you have, how much you have, how little wealth you have, to be honest, you can't take away a dime. Instead of living painfully in the journey of life, why can't we live calmly?
I have a peer who left his hometown to work in Shanghai, spent a million down payment to buy a house, and then paid nearly thirty thousand a month, and every day he was miserable and living on the verge of sudden death.
When he couldn't sleep, he opened the window and looked at the night sky, always with the urge to jump. Later, he went to see a psychiatrist, and the result was mild depression.
When people live to this point, does our life really have meaning?
