In this strategic context, Mercedes-Benz began to develop new energy models. As the representative of pure electric models, the EQ series matrix ushered in the first domestic model EQC in 2019. In the past few years, EQA, EQS, EQB and other models have continued to grow the team of the EQ family.

The taillights also follow the design of the EQ family, through the taillight group, and the interior of the lamp cavity is a curved 3D spiral shape. The diffuser below is embellished with chrome accents for added sophistication.
Over 3.2 meters wheelbase and seven SUV seats
The new EQS pure electric SUV has a length, width and height of 5125/1959/1718 mm and a wheelbase of 3210 mm. Compared to its own GLS, it is even larger. The seats are available in five- and seven-seat layouts, while the AMG-style kit models feature sport seats.
After the second and third rows of seats are receded, the new EQS pure electric SUV has 2,100 liters of loading space and can still fit 4 standard golf bags when riding for 5 people.

The new EQS pure electric SUV comes standard with a rear axle motor, and the dual-motor model is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor at the front and rear, providing a maximum output of up to 400 kW and a peak torque of up to 858 Nm. In terms of battery life, the new EQS pure electric SUV has a cruising range of up to 660 km under WLTP conditions.
The chassis design of the four-link front suspension and the independent multi-link rear suspension, equipped with AIRMATIC air suspension with continuously adjustable damping, matches the five dynamic driving modes, whether it is for urban comfort or off-road driving, it is easy to deal with. It is worth mentioning that in the "off-road" mode, the body can be raised by 25 mm.
The rear wheel active steering system with a height of 10 degrees has a turning diameter of only 11 meters, which makes the majestic body swim safely between the alleys.
The 4MATIC all-wheel drive system monitors and adjusts the torque on the wheel up to 10,000 times per minute, allowing the vehicle to respond to a wide range of power needs and be responsive at all times.
