First impression: very soft, very beautiful

Step on the electric door: very smooth, very fast
Don't be fooled by the huge body of EQS, it drives like a D-class car.
The first is that the momentum is fierce. The EQS is available in two powered versions, the EQS 450+ and EQS 580 4MATIC, with single and dual motors at 245 kW and 380 kW respectively. We test-drove the EQS 580 4MATIC, with a maximum power of 385 kW (525 hp), a maximum torque of 855 Nm, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of just 4.4 seconds.
From the parameter point of view, this set of powertrains is undoubtedly a "red-maned horse", but mercedes-Benz engineers have tamed it like a "sheep", especially the economic and comfort mode, its silky smooth power, linear foot feeling, like sliding on the cream... But you must not underestimate its power, when you switch to Sport mode, the flood power of the front and rear dual motors bursts, 4.4 seconds of 100 km/h acceleration, can also make you excited.
Despite its 3210mm extra-long wheelbase and over 5m2 long body, the rear-wheel active steering system up to 10 degrees allows the EQS to have a turning diameter of only 10.9 meters, which is more flexible than some hatchback A-class cars.

It is worth mentioning that the EQS is also equipped with a ternary lithium battery with high energy density of 111.8kWh, and the maximum driving range can reach 849 kilometers. With Mercedes-Benz's self-developed battery management system, it can achieve accurate endurance. More importantly, the BMS can also be upgraded with sustainable OTA and grow like electronics. The EQS 580 4MATIC that we test drove had some discounts on battery life due to the use of dual motors, but according to CLTC standards, it also reached 720km.
