On April 13, the BMW Group officially released the new BMW X7, further enhancing its competitiveness in the large luxury car segment. Since its launch in 2019, the BMW X7 has achieved impressive results, with cumulative global sales of more than 150,000 units.
As we all know, Audi has the reputation of the "light factory" in the car industry, and this time the new BMW X7 is obviously prepared: the front face adopts a new design of split headlights, replacing the traditional style with a rich layer of headlights that echo up and down. Among them, the upper LED light cluster integrates daytime running lights, width indicators and turn indicators, while the headlights located below it integrate low and high beam functions. For the first time, it is equipped with a dazzling light curtain grille, which can present a waterfall-like lighting effect at night.
The tail lights are designed with 3D stereostemporal LED tail lights, and the left and right L-shaped light groups are connected by glass-covered chrome decorative strips, making the rear shape more exquisite and elegant. In addition, the new BMW X7 is equipped with aerodynamic components and 23-inch alloy wheels that are available for the first time on a BMW production model.
With a new cabin design and layout, the interior cockpit of the new BMW X7 features BMW's latest all-in-one floating curved screen, integrated 14.9-inch central touch screen and 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and the new BMW iDrive and BMW operating system 8.0 are applied.
It's worth mentioning that the physical buttons in the cockpit have been drastically reduced, the traditional gear handles have been replaced with delicate crystal-textured levers, and the new center console design integrates hidden vents, as well as a BMW Smart Ambient Light Belt with the backlit X7 logo. In terms of spatial layout, the new BMW X7 offers three rows of seven-seat and six-seat executive seating layouts, as well as a panoramic skylight that covers three rows of seats.
In terms of power, the new BMW X7 is equipped with a new generation of 6 or 8 cylinder engines, equipped with a 48V light mixing system, and the fastest acceleration of 100 kilometers takes only 4.7 seconds. In the chassis section, BMW has made exclusive adjustments to the new BMW X7, thanks to the adaptive dual-shaft air suspension, xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, and electronically controlled rear axle differential lock, the new BMW X7 can easily cope with rock, gravel, sand, ice and snow terrain. In addition, the new car offers an innovative magic carpet intelligent air suspension system, as well as an overall active steering system.
In terms of driving assistance, the autonomous driving assistance system Pro equipped with the new BMW X7 includes the leading traffic congestion assistance function, lane change assist system, forward collision warning, emergency braking assist, lane correction function, active cruise control system, etc. The vehicle also offers an automatic park assist system Pro, which includes a trail reversing function extended up to 200 meters.
