Memoirs of the Second World War - Nothing is known about compensation

The provisions of the peace treaty were not ultimately enforced. In fact, the victorious powers did confiscate German assets, which amounted to about a billion pounds, but only a year later, Germany received loans from Britain and the United States, amounting to more than one billion and fifty million pounds. It was because of this that Germany had the opportunity to emerge from the aftermath of the war and to recover from the rubble. It's so generous. At this very moment, the unfortunate people of the victorious countries were still suffering, shouting in unison, and their political leaders assured them that Germany would hand over "what little money they had." It is therefore impossible for Germany to be grateful for their generosity any longer.

Germany ended up paying only the amount of compensation that was later determined, as the United States was now assisting Europe, from which Germany received a considerable amount of loans. In the three years from 1926 to 1929, Germany took out loans from the United States, and the United States did not expect Germany to repay them, and the United States also received some reparations from Germany, the latter of which was only one-fifth of the former. But it seems that everyone is very happy and expects this situation to continue.

History is the real judge, and it will eventually declare this behavior crazy. The bane of war grew under their stimulus, and the "economic crisis" was brewing (more on this later). Germany now borrows everywhere, and they swallow without hesitation any generous sum of credit into their stomachs. British investors also added to the ranks of lenders because they listened to the wrong guidance of aiding the defeated countries, and with the attraction of the interest rate of the loan calculation, they began to invest, but the size of the loan was far less than that of the United States. Germany thus received loans of up to 1.5 billion pounds, and its compensation was only a meagre billion pounds, and the payment methods of these reparations were various, some of which were foreign assets or foreign exchange, and some of which were played with huge loans from the United States. These stupid practices can be combined into a tragic story, but how much effort has been expended for this story, and how much virtue has been corrupted! #History # #第二次世界大战 #
