【"Ghost Heads Up"! At the 139th plenary session of the International Olympic Committee held on the 3rd, IOC President Bach pointed out that in the past few years, "the dark cloud of the increasing politicization of sports has risen on the horizon" and criticized the past "boycott ghost" to "show its ugly face" again. Bach called on the United Nations, the G-20 and politicians to respect the principle of Olympic neutrality, "and only by abandoning all differences and political contradictions can the Olympics fulfill its mission of building bridges and unite all humanity with a rich diversity". Bach also wrote an article in the Winter Olympic Committee journal on the 3rd, praising China for introducing more than 300 million people to ice and snow sports, writing down the history of the Olympic Games, and hoping to "change the scale of winter sports forever" and "today we can say that China is a winter sports country".

Previously, on January 28, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the list of international dignitaries attending the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics, a total of 25 foreign heads of state, heads of government and royal family members, at least 7 heads of international organizations, compared with the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games attended by 13 international dignitaries last year, the lineup of the Beijing Winter Olympics is "luxurious". In response to the boycotts of the Beijing Winter Olympics by some Western countries on the issue of "human rights," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that these countries are only a handful of countries and that they do not represent the international community.
