On February 11, Sun Xiaoyan, chairman of the CPPCC District Committee, presided over a meeting of CPPCC chairmen (expanded). Zuo Peng, member of the Standing Committee of the DISTRICT CPC Committee, director of the United Front Work Department, and deputy secretary of the CPPCC leading group; Zhou Qing, Xu Lin, Xu Jiakui, Hu Yanhui, and Liu Yun, leaders of the CPPCC District Committee; all the staff members of the CPPCC organs; and the leaders of various working groups attended the meeting.
On doing a good job in this year's CPPCC work, Sun Xiaoyan demanded that we strengthen study, enhance our overall quality, find the guiding ideology for our work, improve our political standing, find out our role positioning, and base ourselves on our work. Find out the difference between the standard, gather the momentum of performing duties, find the ways and methods of work, strive to achieve new improvements in the quality and effectiveness of proposals, make new breakthroughs in the collection of social conditions and public opinion information, show new deeds in theoretical research and committee management, achieve new improvements in target management, and step up to a new level of publicity and reporting. Improve the system, improve the long-term mechanism, strictly implement the rules and regulations, build a "four for" CPPCC team, strictly implement the "six leading and six strictly prohibited" regulations, promote the CPPCC this year's work to create new achievements, and contribute to the construction of a well-known tourist destination city in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the Fifth Session of the Twelfth CPPCC Provincial Committee; the participating leaders spoke successively; the directors of each committee and office reported the main work ideas and suggestions in 2022; and the leaders of each working group reported on the 2022 work plan of the group.
