After the sharing meeting, Xu Kai, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee (part-time) and class teacher of The School Qingma College, emphasized the discipline and task requirements of the government affairs internship project to the trainees, and encouraged everyone to use their free time to actively innovate the form of activities and gain a deep understanding of the grassroots.

This year marks the thirteenth year of the establishment of the Young Marxists (Backbone of Students) Training College of Zhejiang University (hereinafter referred to as "Qingma College"). Xu Kai said: "In the past thirteen years, Tsing Ma College has continuously optimized the training program of students, and gradually formed a training mechanism with 'theoretical study, government practice, red education, and foreign exchanges' as the main carrier, playing a unique and key role in the overall situation of ideological and political education in the school." At present, the school's Qingma College has basically consolidated the foundation for talent training and achieved the unity of science and system. ”
Strengthen faith and be a young Marxist in the new era
In June 2017, Xu Kai, a 2015 undergraduate student of the College of Environment and Resources, was selected by various levels to become the tenth batch of students of Qingma College of Zhejiang University. From the trainees to the class teachers, Xu Kai, a cadre of the Youth League, embarked on a path of growth for young Marxists.

In May 2007, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League launched the "Young Marxist Training Project". In July, Zhejiang University took the lead in implementing this work in Zhejiang Province' colleges and universities, and identified 2008 as the "Year of Training Student Backbones", promulgated the "Implementation Measures for the Student Backbone Training Program of Zhejiang University Youth Marxism Training Project" and the "Decision on the Establishment of Zhejiang University Youth Marxism Training College", guiding contemporary college students to strengthen their belief in always following the party on the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and further accelerating the construction of world-class universities and cultivating first-class talents with international vision. In the same year, the first phase of Qingma College of Zhejiang University was opened. After 2010, the departments of Zhejiang University also began to establish a college-level Qingma engineering training class to build a engineering system for the training of young Marxists at the university and the academy level, and there are currently more than 30 departments of Qingma training classes as the reserve force of the school's Qingma College.
Under the leadership of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University, the Youth League Committee of Zhejiang University is composed of six departments, including the Organization Department of the Party Committee of the University, the Propaganda Department, the Student Work Department, the Research and Engineering Department, the Youth League Committee, and the Career Guidance Center, and the Youth League Committee of the School is responsible for the daily affairs of the College. Each session of Tsing Ma College is divided into six groups, including class affairs group, regiment affairs group, theory group, secretary group, publicity group, and practice group, each performing its own duties to ensure the operation of the class of Tsing Ma College.
Political firmness, both ability and political integrity, comprehensive quality, exemplary example, and worthy of heavy responsibilities are the training goals of Qingma College of Zhejiang University. At the beginning of its establishment, Tsing Ma College recruited about 30 outstanding student backbones for the whole school every year, including student cadres with excellent academic qualities at both the school and the college level, student union cadres, student club backbones, and outstanding undergraduate and graduate students with outstanding academic, scientific and technological, cultural and other aspects. Since 2019, in response to the training concept of "improving quality and expanding the scope" of the Central Committee of the League, the Qingma College of Zhejiang University has optimized and upgraded the selection of students, and the number of students has expanded to about 60 people per period, paying more attention to the selection and training of Qingma students in various outstanding student groups at all levels. In accordance with the standard of "moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor" comprehensive development, on the basis of adhering to the principle of "morality first", fully consider the academic performance, and the entrance is more strictly closed.
Theoretical study is a crucial part of the training system for young Marxists and the cornerstone of the all-round development of Young Horse trainees. At Qingma College, students have a long list of must-read books, including Marxist classics such as "The Communist Manifesto", "Capital", and "Manuscripts of Economic Philosophy in 1844", as well as series of reading books such as "Xi Jinping on Governing the Country", "Thirty Lectures on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era", "Walking in the Forefront in Practice", as well as humanities, social sciences and natural sciences such as "500 Years of World Socialism", "Native China", and "Creating Systematics".
In Xu Kai's memory, the college daily carried out three theoretical meetings with "classic reading meetings, current affairs seminars, and government affairs sharing meetings" as the main body, which benefited him a lot. "At that time, we organized several classical theoretical studies, asked the professors of the School of Marxism to explain the classic works of Marxism, discussed the sinification of Marxism, and tutored "Xi Jinping on Governing the Country" and so on.

One of his most memorable lessons was a lecture given by Liu Zhaofeng of the School of Marxism of Zhejiang University to the students of Qingma on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Marx's birth. With vivid and practical language and concise and powerful expressions, the teacher explained to us what he understood the Communist Manifesto, Marxism in his eyes, and the communist society in his heart. Although an exchange of less than 3 hours cannot fully clarify this Classic Of Marxism, the discussion of idealism clears the fog and ignites the spark of faith for us young Marxists. ”
In the first year of university, Xu Kai served as the secretary of the class league branch and joined the Youth Quality Development Center of the student organization under the Youth League Committee of Zhejiang University as an officer. In his second year of college, Xu Kai joined the Communist Party of China. In the third year of college, Xu Kai became the deputy director of the Youth Quality Development Center, and in September of that year, he was recommended by the organization and entered the Qingma College of Zhejiang University after several rounds of selection such as qualification review, written examination, and interview, and served as the class leader. Tsing Ma College is not academic education, but a one-year training education, Xu Kai and his classmates take it seriously, in addition to daily classes and student organization work, almost not absent from the activities of Tsing Ma College. In the process of his youth growth, the background of faith is even deeper and thicker.
For four years, Xu Kai successively served as the secretary of the youth league branch of the administrative class, the professional class and the student organization. University is a critical period for the growth of young people, how to make students have great progress in this period of thinking, he first started from the branch culture and special activities, designed logos, put forward slogans, created theme songs, made cultural shirts, and selected image ambassadors... One activity after another made the members of the regiment feel more belonging, and the branch became a "home". At the same time, Xu Kai, as the secretary of the class league branch and the deputy secretary of the party branch, built a bridge of "leading team building with party building". He proposed that each party member of the party branch dock with a league branch, guide the work of the league branch, and walk into the league branch to give micro-party lessons and micro-regiment lessons.

In the past four years, his League Branch has won the honors of the Vitality League Branch of the National College Communist Youth League, the Vitality League Branch of the Zhejiang Provincial College Communist Youth League, the May Fourth Red Flag League Branch and the Advanced League Branch of Zhejiang University. Establish an effective connection between party building and team building, and use party building to promote the ideological growth of league members, so that the young people of the league members can complete the ideological growth leap. When he graduated from the undergraduate, some members of the branch, including Xu Kai, chose to go to the west to teach or become the school's ideological and political counselors, and continued to practice the youth declaration in another way.
Carry forward the red tradition and inherit the red gene

In August 2017, Xu Kai wrote down his feelings after practicing society in Jinggangshan. That summer, the young Marxists (backbone of students) of Zhejiang University formed a social practice team, with the theme of "Youth Welcomes the Nineteenth National Congress, Building the Chinese Dream together", rushed to Jinggangshan, Jiangxi, the cradle of the Chinese revolution, to participate in the 2017 "Jinggang Love• Chinese Dream" National College Students Summer Practice Season Special Action jointly sponsored by the Central School Department of the Communist Youth League and the National Youth Jinggangshan Revolutionary Traditional Education Base Management Center.
Red education is an important content of ideological and political education for college students, but also one of the important training links of The Qingma College of Zhejiang University, in Xu Kai's view, the red holy land can only better understand the history of the party and the history of the country, this feeling is difficult to directly show in the words on the books. "I was deeply impressed by the situational teaching in Jinggangshan, and only by restoring the historical scene and allowing myself to truly experience it can I truly feel the difficulty of the revolution."
In addition to going to Jinggangshan, every year during the Qingming Dynasty, Zhejiang University Qingma students will also come to Wansong Academy, located on the west lake in Hangzhou, to hold a memorial sweeping activity to deeply commemorate the three martyrs of Yu Zisan who died in the patriotic student movement on the eve of liberation. The sacrifice of the tomb of the Martyrs of Zhejiang University has become a compulsory part of the red education of the Qingma College of Zhejiang University, Yu Zisan, Fei Gong, He Youyi, Chen Jingsen, Zou Zikai... Revolutionary martyrs who loved the country and the school in the history of Zhejiang University used their lives to build up the eternal monument of Zhejiang University, and the spirit of martyrs has long been deeply integrated into the blood of Qingma students.
"While we remember the Zisan martyrs, we must also bear in mind the 'student soul' spirit of the Zisan martyrs, on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the party, carry forward the red tradition, inherit the red gene, summon up the spirit of entering a new journey and forging ahead into a new era, and strive to become a loyal and reliable young political backbone", Xu Kai put forward hopes to the thirteenth qingma students in the 2021 Qingming Festival.
Jiaxing Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall, Zhejiang Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, Shanghai First Congress of the Communist Party of China, Jiangxi Jinggangshan Revolutionary Traditional Education Base... Through various forms of red education activities, the Qingma College of Zhejiang University guides the students to vigorously carry forward the national spirit and the spirit of the times, and strengthens the study of the history of the party, the history of new China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of socialist development.
Strive with youth and serve the needs of the country
"Promote action with knowledge, seek knowledge with action". Over the years, the Qingma College of Zhejiang University has been encouraging students to measure the motherland with their feet, find their original intentions and bravely undertake the mission in youth dedication.
In the summer of 2018, Xu Kai, as a Student of Zhejiang University, participated in the 2018 Internship Program for College Students of Central and State Organs organized by the Central Committee of the Youth League, "After a month of internship in the General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, I learned how state organs operate, and felt the excellent qualities and ideals of the people's servants in them. At the same time, in practical work, I also saw that there are still prominent problems in the field of ecological environment throughout the country, and I heard the voices of the grass-roots masses, which made me firmly adhere to the ideals and beliefs needed to devote myself to the cause of the party and the country in the future."
Like Xu Kai, in recent years, the Qingma College of Zhejiang University has successively selected trainees to go to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Health commission and other national ministries and commissions, the organs directly under Zhejiang Province, the organs directly under Hangzhou City, gongshu district, West Lake District, Shangyu District and other internships, relying on the "Xingyuan Plan" government affairs internship project, gradually building an integrated platform of "central ministries and commissions - provincial and municipal organs - grass-roots townships" to strengthen the political experience of trainees. Win the youth, win the future. In the past 13 years, Zhejiang University Tsingma Project has trained more than 4,400 Tsingma students at all levels, of which more than 430 people have been trained by Tsingma College. More than 80% of the students who graduated in the past three years alone have chosen to work in government agencies, key scientific research institutes or national defense and military industrial units, contributing to the youth force where the party and the country need it most. Qingma College of Zhejiang University has become an important part of Zhejiang University's implementation of the student backbone training plan, and it is also an important platform for the cultivation of high-level student backbone.

In November 2020, at the opening ceremony of the 13th session of Tsingma College of Zhejiang University, Wu Xiaobao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University and dean of Tsingma College, made a special report on "Communicating with Student Backbones". Wu Xiaobao discussed the three issues of what an excellent student cadre should look like, how far away we are from the ideal student cadre at present, and how to grow into an excellent student cadre. He proposed that the backbone of the vast number of students should achieve "three correct understandings," that is, correctly understand the general trend of the world and multiculturalism, correctly understand Chinese characteristics and international comparisons, and correctly understand personal ideals and responsibilities of the times; on this basis, firmly establish three kinds of consciousnesses, such as awareness of the overall situation, awareness of problems, and awareness of distress, learn to correctly handle the three relationships of "me and me," "me and you, him," and "me and us," and strive to become model students, accomplished, and reliable people in the student body.
