【Top 15 MPV Commercial Vehicle Sales List for the Whole Year of 2021】According to the data released by the Association of Passenger Vehicles, the cumulative retail sales of the domestic MPV market in 2021 will be 1.079 million units, a slight decrease of 1.0% year-on-year, and the sales volume of the MPV market will continue to decline.
Wuling Hongguang is still the most popular MPV model in 2021, with cumulative sales of 252,200 units in the whole year, down 11.0% year-on-year.
Buick GL8 has accumulated sales of 161,300 units, continuing to rank second, a slight increase of 2.9% year-on-year, sitting firmly in the top deal of commercial vehicles, accounting for almost half of the sales of joint venture MPV models.
Trumpchi M8 performed well, with cumulative sales of 66,200 vehicles in the whole year, ranking third, up 95.2% year-on-year. Its "little brother" Trumpchi M6 has accumulated sales of 47,900 vehicles, ranking seventh, an increase of 21.5% year-on-year.
Wuling Capgemini, which sold well in the first half of the year, saw a decline in sales in the second half of the year, with cumulative retail sales of 62,600 vehicles in the whole year, ranking fourth.
Honda Alexandre and Odyssey both increased sales, of which Alexand sold 52,200 vehicles in the whole year, ranking fifth, an increase of 20.0% year-on-year; Odyssey's cumulative sales of 45,200 vehicles, ranked eighth, up 11.2% year-on-year. In January this year, the mid-term redesign of the 2022 Odyssey and Alexand were launched successively, further enhancing the market competitiveness of these two models.
Fengxing sold 49,300 vehicles in the whole year, ranking sixth, and fell by 20.2% compared with 2020 sales. The cumulative sales volume of JAC Ruifeng was 31,300 units, down 0.4% year-on-year, ranking ninth.
As the former home MPV sales champion, Baojun 730 sold 30,800 vehicles in the whole year, ranking only tenth, down 46.1% year-on-year.
Other MPV models on the list include: Chase G50 sold 23,800 units, Mercedes-Benz V-Class sold 20,200 units, Roewe iMAX 8 sold 19,400 units, Volkswagen Weiran sold 17,400 units, and Mercedes-Benz Vito sold 15,800 units. (Source/Multiplying Association)
