This is why after the Lugou Bridge Incident in 1937, Peking University moved south to Changsha, and the Japanese army that occupied Beiping used the former Peking University's school buildings and the library equipment that was too late to relocate to establish a pseudo-"National Peking University", and enrolled students to start classes to enslave Chinese youth.

The reason is that Fu Yiyi, as a Han Chinese, did not participate in the anti-Qing restoration movement, but instead participated in the first township examination after the Qing Dynasty entered the customs, until the temple test won the Zhongshunzhi Dynasty.

To this end, Rong Geng, a pseudo-Peking University professor and antiquarian, also published a "Book of Ten Thousand Words" addressed to Fu Sinian to protest and defend. Book:

The people of the occupied areas are unable to move inland, and the government troops, who have retreated in a hurry, have no opportunity to move inland with the people. The inevitable defeat of the Zeriko encourages the students to finally belong to us in the final victory, and the rest of the responsibility is also the responsibility.
In response to Rong Geng's Book of Ten Thousand Words, Fu Sinian did not compromise, and once again stated in the form of answering reporters' questions, resolutely fighting back against the entangled and sophists. The statement said:
First, schools above the junior college level must be a full-fledged example on the four words of etiquette, righteousness, and shame, and show it to students and the next generation of young people! Rong Geng graduated from the Faculty of Chinese Studies of Peking University in 1924, and after staying on as a professor for one year, he transferred to Yenching University as a professor, and was a well-known antiquarian and paleographer in the academic field, with great influence.
