Arrival: The Art and Tao of Oniguchi

When talking about a person's thoughts, we cannot abandon the background of the times in which he was at that time.

To briefly summarize the Spring and Autumn Warring States, ritual music and order collapse, tension and cruelty coexist. The way of the gentleman is declining, the secretaries and doctors are declining day by day, and the princely states are constantly fighting.

Oniguzi is living in such a period.

01, Oniguzi and its books

Talk about the ghost valley, talk about its tricks, and be known for its vertical and horizontal affairs.

"The Forbidden Fruit of Wisdom" – everyone in the world talks about it. Or slightly biased.

Oniguzi surname Wang, named Xuanweizi, Spring and Autumn Weiguo Dynasty singer, studied under Yin Xi. Because of his seclusion in the Ghost Valley, he is also known as "Mr. Ghost Valley".

His book "Ghost Valley" is widely known, defending the opportunity of power, which is very different from the "benevolence, righteousness, etiquette, and faith" advocated by Confucianism, so it has always had a mixed reputation.

The book "Ghost Valley" was written in the Warring States period, influenced by Yin Xi (Lao Tzu out of the customs, liu Yin Xi's "Tao Te Ching"), the whole book is based on the Taoist Lao Tzu thought, mixed with Confucianism, Law, Name, Ink, Yin and Yang and other schools of thought, its own family, as a book to enter the world.

After thousands of years, the two articles of "Turning Pills" and "Chaos" have been lost, but "the hidden plot is invisible, often better than no dispute and no cost", and it is still a priceless mineral deposit today.

02、 What is "arrival"

At the beginning of the official chapter, today I only talk about the technique of "resisting" in the previous volume, or slightly involve others, which is rare in this article.

"Resisting", the meaning of resistance; "巇", gap, by extension, contradictions, loopholes.

Traditional Chinese literature can find its origins in the Zhou Yi, which is a yin and yang for the sixty-four gua. The term "resistance" is also interpreted in terms of yin and yang.

Yang, taken literally, resists contradictions or loopholes when they appear, in other words, "prevent problems before they happen", that is, "resist and plug" mentioned by Oniguzi.

The yin side, trying to destroy something, starts from the subtleties, gradually enlarges the contradictions in it, and then achieves the purpose of destruction, which is the of a thousand miles, collapsed in the ant nest, and the ghost valley zi said to get it.

The opening chapter of "Resistance" says that "there is near but not visible, and there is far and knowable", pointing out the crux of it.

"Near but not visible", not everything is like a mustard seed, making people ignore, but it is like breathing, eating, and habits becoming natural.

This characteristic of our brain allows us to cope with daily life more quickly, and likewise, it numbs us to ordinary stimuli.

It is the "warm boiled frog", too many things gradually terrible.

From the beginning of the separation of heaven and earth is always the "Tao", and there are gaps, and we cannot be cautious and attentive at all times.

03, Yang: Arrive and plug it

The story of Fan Gongli, the Doctor of Yue, who took a flat boat and his Son into the Three Rivers and Pan five lakes is widely known.

Fan Li assisted the Yue king for more than twenty years, and after the restoration of the country, he paid tribute to Fan Li as a general.

Punishment is to punish evil, and reward is rewarded for merit. The official is highly qualified, which is what Fan Li deserves, but Fan Li sees all the courtiers at the celebration banquet, and only the king is happy.

In his letter to his friend Wen Zhong after leaving, he commented on the practice of "the king of Yue is a man, a long-necked bird pecking, and an eagle-eyed wolf step".

Then we know that Gouge is "you can share hardships, you can't share happiness."

It turned out that Fan Li's concerns were real. Because wen Chuan was not out of time, he was deceived as "Mr. Taught me the Seven Techniques of Cutting Wu, I only used three of them to destroy the State of Wu, and there are four deep hidden in Mr. Wu's chest... It is better to repent of the mistakes of the past than to prevent future wrongs" and give the sword and die.

Because the small sees the big and the prevention of troubles is not happening, just as this article says, "At the end of the autumn, it is at the root of Taishan", and we cannot fail to observe.

It is rare in the modern era to deal with the scourge of killing people like Fan Li, but this is not a blessing. There are too many temptations in our time, and if we simply look at ourselves, we will not cultivate small sections and do not believe in words and deeds.

In addition, external objects are added to me, just like the words of "Liutao", "Raise their chaotic subjects to be fascinated, and enter the beautiful women to confuse them."

The sages emphasized self-cultivation, which originated from Si.

04, Yin: Arrive at it

During the Chu-Han rivalry, after the Feast of Hongmen, in the Battle of Xingyang.

Chen Pingqiao of the Han camp was distraught, and when the Chu emissaries entered the city and learned that he was "an envoy of King Xiang" instead of "an envoy of Ya Father (Xiang Yu's only adviser Fan Zeng)", he pretended to be surprised and ordered someone to replace the tai prison tool with evil grass tool.

The Chu emissaries returned and told King Xiang, who doubted his father, and finally caused Fan Zeng to leave the camp and die of illness.

Since then, King Xiang has lost his right and left arm, and the King of Han has made a major threat, such as Fan Zeng's words to King Xiang after the feast at Hongmen Gate, "Whoever seizes the world of Xiang Wang will be pei gong", and the overall situation will be determined.

Chen Ping was able to use this trick because he saw the "gap" between Xiang Yu and his sub-father Fan Zeng.

The history books record that Xiang Yu was suspicious and self-conscious.

Chen Ping even said that "King Xiang cannot believe in people, and his benevolence is not the Kundi of his wife, although there are Qishi who cannot be used", saying that xiang Yu really trusts only relatives.

Although Fan Zeng was enshrined as his sub-father, he was in the end a vassal of Xiang Yu. At the Hongmen banquet, Fan Zeng and Xiang Yu's attitude towards Liu Bang was one to kill and one not to kill. Fan Zengguo really took a father's attitude to treat his son, ignoring the fundamentals of the monarch and his subjects between words and deeds, so Xiang Yu was already dissatisfied with him.

Chen Ping saw this "gap" from the Hongmen Banquet, enlarged it, and gave Xiang Yu a reason to drive away Fan Zeng, thus completely disintegrating Chu Di's think tank.

The Old Book of Tang says that "those who doubt do not make it, but the messengers do not doubt" also says such a truth. The "gap" that exists in my body, or the "gap" that exists between me and the people I am traveling with, even if it is too small to be aware of, will cause disintegration directly from within us if it is used by those who have a heart and I am not careful.

The yin side of "resistance" emphasizes that "when there is a reach, then it is plotted." It is not completely based on faithfulness and benevolence, and was commonly used by ancient politicians, only for the benefit. This is more of a warning to us in the present. The heart of defense is indispensable, so as to spy away from the villain.

05. The Principle of Resistance

The principle of resistance is that "there is a blind eye in the beginning, it can be resisted and plugged, it can be resisted and stopped, it can be offset and rested, it can be resisted and hidden, and it can be resisted and obtained."

Tao Hongjing of the Southern Dynasty did not elaborate on the comments on this sentence, saying, "The degenerate, the gap will be a sign, it is said to be subtle." Those who are self-made can be resisted and blocked; those who are from outside can be resisted; those who are born from below can be offset and rested; those who are small can be resisted and hidden; those who are incurable can be resisted and obtained."

It is the five states that correspond to the "gap":

From the inside, it is occluded; it originates from the outside, causing it to retreat; born of the inferior, it calms down; the gap is still shallow, strangling the cradle; returning to the heavens is lacking in technique, reforming the old and establishing the new.

In particular, it emphasizes that "when the world is infallible, it is hidden and waits; when there is a time to reach, it is plotted."

"Zhou Yi" Qiangua "Chu Jiu: Hidden Dragon, Don't Use", which also talks about the truth of "waiting for the time to be hidden".

The Zhou Yi occupies the number of nine and six, nine is yang, and six tables are yin. The yao is the first in the gua, so it is called "chu"; it is yang, so it is called "nine". It is combined as the "first nine".

When people are in a lower position, when they are not with me, then Taoguang cultivates obscurity, enters the moral cultivation, and improves himself. Use static braking, wait for it, and avoid blind movement.

The emphasis is on moving with the times and going with the flow.

There are signs of gaps, large or small, far or near, such as the words of the gentleman in Yangzi's "Sayings of the Law": "The shadow must be verified, the distance must be near, the great must be tested, and the micro must be tested", the same is true for the resistance.

If this is the case, then everything is observed and the risk is avoided.

Finally, ending with a digression, the reason why the book "Oniguzi" has always been controversial is because it refuses to hide. The above two volumes contain power and strategy, rhetoric and lobbying, simply and directly. It is so naked that society immediately feels threatened, and thus ignores the cultivated mind emphasized in the next volume.

Mr. Onitani's Spring and Autumn Warring States are chaotic and chaotic, and if you speak from a political stand alone, you will be injured and killed, not the whole way of morality, but you have to do it as a last resort.

Privately thinking that the Tao is the basis, the technique is used, and the number of techniques mentioned in the two volumes of the book "OniGuzi" alone, while ignoring the mental cultivation emphasized in the next volume, is to give up the end of the book, or to save the urgency of the moment, but it is not far away. Now it is time to return to the roots, and then you can learn its magic numbers.

There is no good or evil in the art, it is all in the use of people. A gentleman acts in order to seek obedience and unity, and to guard the gods for heaven and earth; a villain acts in a dazed manner, and a greedy and deceitful person does it.

Knowing that there is always change, and keeping the opportunity, then the harm of the Heavenly Dao is well understood.
