Gongxing Primary School in Jiange County: Carry out special education activities on drowning prevention safety
In order to effectively prevent the occurrence of student drowning incidents, enhance students' awareness of drowning prevention, improve students' self-protection and self-rescue ability, reduce the occurrence of safety accidents, and effectively protect students' lives, recently, Jiange County Gongxing Primary School has carried out a series of special education activities on drowning prevention.
At the beginning of the event, Wang Yang, deputy director of the Moral Education Department, read out the implementation plan of the 2024 drowning prevention safety special work of Gongxing Primary School.
Zhao Cong, deputy director of the Moral Education Office, put forward specific requirements for the drowning prevention work of teachers and students in the school and led all students to take an oath: resolutely achieve the "six no, three will and four know" of drowning prevention. The children solemnly signed their names on the banner, once again deeply embracing the promise of "cherishing life and preventing drowning".
The class teachers take the actual cases as the starting point, focus on the prevention of student drowning, and use the methods of watching videos, pictures, and memorizing drowning prevention nursery rhymes to carry out drowning prevention safety education theme class meetings, and teach students some knowledge of self-defense and self-rescue, deepen drowning prevention safety education, so that students can master the knowledge of self-defense and self-rescue, and improve their self-defense and self-rescue ability. In the end, all classes organized students to take the "six prohibitions" oath, starting from me.
Through this "drowning prevention" theme class meeting, the students' safety awareness was further enhanced, the students' self-protection ability was improved, and a strong "drowning prevention" safety education atmosphere was created in the whole school.
