Admission Requirements
Children must be at least 6 years old, i.e. born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018. If a school-age child needs to postpone enrollment due to physical condition or other reasons, his or her guardian shall submit an application and provide a physical condition certificate issued by a medical institution at or above the second level, which shall be reviewed and approved by the General Education Division of the Education Bureau.

Admission requirements for public schools
1. School-age children whose household registration is in a public primary school (including the original township central primary school and a consistent school, the same below) in the teaching area should register online, and their household registration should be consistent with the legal guardian in principle, and should obtain the official permanent residence registration of the family in the teaching district before December 31, 2023, and the household registration is consistent with the actual permanent residence and house ownership certificate (the holder is the legal guardian of the school-age child), and meet other relevant requirements. (Note: School-age children and their guardians enrolled in the fall of 2025 must obtain the official permanent residence of the family in their diocese by December 31, 2024). In addition to the above conditions, children can also be enrolled in public primary schools under the following circumstances: (1) Both parents of the child are active military personnel who do not work in Nanjing or experts or technicians who are sent abroad to work abroad, and the child has a single household registration or permanent residence in the teaching area of the public primary school with his or her grandparents (maternal grandparents). (2) After birth, the school-age child shall be registered with the grandparents (maternal grandparents) with his or her parents, and shall be settled in the teaching area of a public primary school, and the child's household registration has never been moved, and the child's legal guardian has no real estate in the name. 2. Children of families who purchase second-hand houses (1) The legal guardians of children should complete the house ownership certificate of the second-hand house within the specified time, complete the household registration and move in procedures for the children and their legal guardians, and actually live there. (2) Each second-hand house can only guarantee that the children of one family are currently enrolled in the primary school in the diocese. 3. Children of families who have not purchased a new house or have not been placed in place can register in the primary school of the original diocese. (2) Those who have been placed in place shall register in the primary school of the diocese to which the resettlement house belongs with relevant supporting materials. (3) If the child has purchased a house by himself and obtained the house ownership certificate, the child and his or her legal guardian shall move their household registration to the property right house within the specified time and register for enrollment in the primary school of the diocese to which the household registration belongs. 4. Children with household registration in the district in other circumstances (1) Children with disabilities are enrolled in school. Nanjing School for the Blind (Low Vision) and Nanjing School for the Deaf are open to students from all over the city; Jiangning Special Education School recruits children with intellectual disabilities in the district. (2) If the household registration relocation is not completed within the specified time due to special circumstances, or the registration is not made in time within the specified time, the school shall be responsible for registration and reporting, and the district education bureau shall make overall arrangements for enrollment according to the actual situation. (3) School-age children who have settled in Jiangning District and do not have formal property rights should choose to register online at the school in their place of household registration and make an appointment for on-site audit, and the district education bureau will make overall arrangements for enrollment according to the actual situation. 5. The children of migrant workers shall implement the "Interim Measures for the Management of Schools in the Compulsory Education Stage of Migrant Children of Migrant Workers in Jiangning District" (Jiangning Jiaoban [2021] No. 2), and the District Education Bureau shall make overall arrangements for enrollment according to the actual situation to ensure that eligible migrant children can be fully enrolled.

One
Admission to public primary schools
1. The guardians of school-age children in the district shall register online within the specified time according to the service scope of the public school teaching area and the former township central primary school. There are three ways to register online: (1) Jiangning District Compulsory Education Enrollment Registration System (website: zsbm.jnjy.net.cn), (2) "My Jiangning" mobile APP, (3) "Sufu Office" mobile APP. The online reporting time for children with household registration and eligible children of migrant workers in the diocese is from May 27 to June 2 at 17:00. Children with household registration in the diocese area, accompanied by their legal guardians, will go to the school for on-site review of materials at the appointed time on June 1-2; The legal guardian of the eligible relocated child shall go to the designated place on June 29 to review the materials on site. When school-age children in the district go to the school to review the materials on site, they need to present the ID card of the legal guardian, the household registration book of the legal guardian and the school-age children in the teaching district, the house ownership certificate and other relevant documents (certificates). The legal guardians of all school-age children should ensure that the relevant materials are true and valid, and actively cooperate with the school to do a good job of verifying the relevant materials. If there is any concealment or fraud, once verified, the admission qualification of the school to which the applicant has applied will be cancelled. If the circumstances are serious, they will be reported to the public security organs for handling.

Admission to private primary schools
Children with household registration in the district who are interested in studying in private schools can choose up to 2 private primary schools to register according to the conditions of the household registration scope of private schools, and go to one of the private schools to fill in the computer allocation volunteer on June 15-16. After registration, if the child is randomly assigned by the computer (when the number of applicants is less than the number of enrollment plans, the registered children are regarded as the same as the number of applicants), they need to go to the school for on-site confirmation from June 25 to July 5, and complete the follow-up relevant procedures, the deadline is 17:00 on July 5, and those who fail to confirm on the spot within the time limit will be deemed to have given up. If you are selected by two schools at the same time, you must explicitly select one of them. Students who have confirmed their admission are not allowed to be readmitted to another school. The computer random allocation shall be organized and implemented by the district education enrollment and examination center in accordance with the operating rules uniformly formulated by the city, and private schools shall not organize the computer random allocation on their own. The computer random assignment in our district invites notary institutions to participate, and the whole process is subject to public supervision, and the results of the allocation are announced to the public in real time. Children with household registration in the district who sign up for the random allocation of places by computer shall register normally in the public school of the diocese. Among them, those who are not randomly assigned by the computer or choose to give up after being assigned will be enrolled in the primary school in the diocese.

Requirements
1. All schools must be strict and do a good job in safety and security. Children and guardians who go to the site for registration, consultation and review of materials must obey the unified command and dispatch of the on-site staff. 2. All schools are not allowed to enroll students in advance, and the enrollment plan must be strictly implemented. 3. The school admission work shall be examined and approved by the District Education Enrollment Examination Center. The new student admission roster serves as a voucher for the establishment of new student status. 4. After completing the registration of new primary school students within the time specified by the Education Bureau, each school shall issue a compulsory education enrollment notice to the guardian before August 10, and stipulate the registration date, and no school shall allow students to enroll in advance or postponement. Failure to register within the time limit will be treated as an automatic abandonment of the degree, and the responsibility shall be borne by the parents. 5. After all the new students register, the school will divide the new students into balanced classes according to the relevant requirements. The Jiangning District Education Admissions and Examination Center is responsible for the interpretation of these implementation rules.
