Xue Fengying was born with polio, resulting in a permanent disability in her right hand. Since her marriage in 1998, she has been living with her parents-in-law. In order to get along better with her in-laws, before she married into her in-laws' family, she had learned about her parents-in-law's daily habits in advance, and knew what they liked and disliked. In 2012, my father-in-law suffered from mild Alzheimer's disease and began to lose recognition. In 2015, her father-in-law was admitted to the hospital with sudden cerebellar atrophy, and under her careful care, although her father-in-law recovered and was discharged from the hospital, he was paralyzed and could not go to the ground. In order to keep her husband busy working outside, Xue Fengying took on the burden of taking care of her father-in-law without thinking about anything. But after the death of her father-in-law, her mother-in-law's physical condition also deteriorated. In 2020, her mother-in-law suddenly became numb and still needed long-term medication after recovering and being discharged from the hospital. In July 2021, when her mother-in-law was exercising, she accidentally fractured her arm, but fortunately Xue Fengying was sent to the hospital in time. After that, she was afraid that her mother-in-law would be injured again, so she did not let her mother-in-law do any more housework, and devoted all her attention to serving her mother-in-law's daily life, from morning to night, day after day, accompanying exercise, washing and cooking, bringing water and medicine, and excessive work made her look much older than her peers.
Love each other and inherit good family customs
Some neighbors persuaded her: "You are just a daughter-in-law, is it worth it?" She said: "Everyone will have an old age, and it is the duty of children to support the elderly, not to mention that I still have children watching!" ”
His son Tian Guohong has watched his mother take care of his grandparents tirelessly since he was a child, and he began to help his mother share it very early. He often gave medicine to his grandmother, wiped his body, and pushed his wheelchair to take his grandmother out to bask in the sun whenever he had time. Once, he wanted to wash his grandmother's feet, but the old man was unwilling, he carried his grandmother to the sofa without saying a word, took off his shoes and socks, and drew water to test the temperature, he said to his grandmother while washing: "Grandma, you didn't hurt me less when I was a child, I should do all this."
