On April 1, Xiaopeng Motors announced its deliveries in March and the first quarter of 2022, of which 15,414 units were delivered in March, an increase of 202% compared with March last year, while the cumulative delivery volume in the first quarter was 34,651 units, an increase of 159% compared with the first quarter of last year.
In terms of bicycle delivery data, the flagship model Xiaopeng P7 reached 9,183 units in March, breaking through the 9,000 mark for the first time. Another pure electric sedan, the Xiaopeng P5, delivered 4,398 units in March, with a cumulative delivery of 10,486 units in the first quarter, an increase of 38% compared with the fourth quarter of last year. In addition, the G3 series, the brand's only SUV model, has been delivered 1,833 units, and Xiaopeng Automobile is also one of the few brands in the new car-making forces that dares to announce the specific delivery data of each model.
However, Xiaopeng Automobile also made different degrees of adjustment at 00:00 on March 21, and the three models of Xiaopeng Automobile on sale, P7, P5 and G3i, all increased in price, with the highest increase of more than 30,000 yuan.
Among them, the current price range of Xiaopeng P7 series is 239,900 to 429,900 yuan; the price range of P5 series is 177,900 to 242,900 yuan; and the price range of G3i series is 168,900 to 203,900 yuan.
Xiaopeng Automobile said that in order to improve the efficiency of order delivery, it completed the technical transformation of the Zhaoqing plant during the Spring Festival, and it is expected that after entering the second quarter, the production capacity of Xiaopeng Automobile can be further accelerated.
The most important model of Xiaopeng Automobile this year is the Xiaopeng G9 based on the X-EEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture, which is positioned in the higher-end and larger pure electric SUV market and is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter.
Just two days before the release of deliveries, Xiaopeng Automobile announced the "report card" of the 2021 annual financial report. As of Dec. 31, its total vehicle deliveries in 2021 were 98,155 units, up 263 percent from 27,041 in 2020.
The total annual revenue was RMB20.99 billion, an increase of 259.1% compared with the 2020 annual revenue, of which the automobile sales revenue was RMB20.042 billion, an increase of 261.3% compared with 2020.
At the same time, the gross profit margin of Xiaopeng Automobile in 2021 is 12.5%, while the gross profit margin in 2020 is 4.6%. Among them, the gross profit margin of automobile sales was 11.5%, while the gross profit margin of automobile sales in 2020 was 3.5%.
On the other hand, The net loss of Xiaopeng Automobile in 2021 was 4.863 billion yuan, compared with 2.732 billion yuan in 2020. Excluding share-based compensation expense and changes in the fair value of derivative liabilities related to foreclosures in preferred shares, the net loss on non-GAAP for 2021 was $4,483 million, compared to a net loss of $2,991 million for 2020.
