However, another owner left a message saying that the turbocharger was replaced in the second half of 2020, but at the end of February this year, the engine noise appeared again. He pointed out that because the BMW X1 in this batch is equipped with a turbine bypass valve pull rod that is too large, when the turbine is started, the tie rod position will emit a strange sound.

One owner said that other brands of turbocharged models have similar problems, but have been solved by adding cards. The owner's statement was confirmed by the staff of the BMW 4S store: only the card can solve the problem, and it is useless to change the turbine.

The problem is that other brands have launched related spare parts, but BMW has not launched a turbocharger card for BMW. Therefore, the issue has not been resolved.

In recent years, BMW's sales in the Chinese market have risen, and product quality problems have also increased.
