Following Ford's launch of the next generation of Ranger pickup trucks in mid-November 2021, Ford officially released a promotional video about the new Everest (Roadbreaker), in which Ford said that this new SUV based on the Ranger pickup will be launched worldwide through the official Facebook and YouTube on March 1 at 2 a.m. (3 p.m. Beijing time).

The new Ford Roadbreaker
Although still covered in camouflage, the general appearance of the car has been officially announced. Because the Ford Roadbreaker is based on the Ranger pickup, the shape looks very domineering, but compared with the Ranger pickup, the Roadbreaker has been redesigned to look more in line with the aesthetic of the SUV model. It is worth mentioning that due to the longer wheelbase of the Ranger by 50 mm, the wheelbase of the new version of the road shaker should also be increased, which may allow the road shakers who already have a wide rear space to bring more legroom for the rear passengers, and can make the passengers in the third row more comfortable to ride.
As a model launched for the global market, the new roadbreaker may continue to launch a diesel engine version, in addition, the car may also be the same as the Ranger, the same as the Ranger, the same ordinary version with a 2.0T four-cylinder engine and a high-performance version of the 2.7T turbocharged engine. Previously, Ford also announced that it will launch a Ranger Raptor version, and it is not known whether Ford will finally launch a special edition model for this roadbreaker.
