A child in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, from a school bag
Pull out a video of a large stack of banknotes
Generate attention online
The video on the Internet shows that the teacher asked the child how to take out a large amount of money from the bag, and the child replied that he wanted to give red envelopes to his classmates. The child's parents said in an interview with the media that there was a total of 25,000 yuan in cash, which was the pressure money of him and his sister.

On February 13, Ms. Cao of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, received a call from her son's school, and the teacher asked Ms. Cao doubtfully: "Why did your son come to school with a large amount of cash?" He said that he wanted to send red envelopes to teachers and classmates. The video on the Internet shows a young boy pulling out a stack of hundred-dollar bills from his school bag and handing them to the teacher, who took the bills in doubt, somewhat puzzled. After taking out the money, the boy was still very shy to protect his school bag.
The child's mother, Ms. Cao, said in an interview with the media that the money was his and his sister's pressure money, a total of 25,500 yuan. Ms. Cao said that children have no concept of money, and the first year they returned to their hometown for the New Year and saw that their relatives and neighbors were pressing him for the new year, and the children wanted to exchange gifts.
The boy's "arrogant" behavior also amused many netizens, some netizens gave the child a thumbs up, praised him for being atmospheric since he was a child, and praised him as "righteous enough"; some netizens expressed "envy", saying that they also wanted to have such classmates; and some netizens quipped that their current "savings" were not as much as a child's pressure money.
Children have no concept of money and can innocently distribute red envelopes, but this does not mean that parents can ignore them. In this case, if the teacher did not inform it in time, the parents would probably still be in the dark and did not know that the child brought the red envelope to the school.

In general, the daily expenses of children are borne by the parents. If the amount of money given by relatives and friends is not large, it can be put into the child's "small vault", and under the guidance of the parents, the child decides how to spend it. This process is conducive to guiding children to form a rational concept of financial management and develop the habit of thrift and thrift. But the amount of money is too large, parents should fully communicate, understand how the child plans to safely store the money, and where to spend the money, rather than casually put in the drawer, all at the child's disposal.
The child's "no concept of money" shows that the family lacks attention to the child's financial and business education, and at the same time, the guardianship of the child is not in place, which is too careless. When cultivating children's concept of money, they do not grasp the right measure and carry out scientific and effective guidance and intervention.
Regardless of the size of the amount, on the issue of pressing the old money, parents cannot simply and rudely and make up their own minds to "keep" for their children, which will make the children feel that the parents' approach is not sincere enough, and it is not conducive to cultivating the child's financial quotient. The right thing to do is that parents should care for their children's freedom to control and dispose of their money, help them make reasonable spending plans, and provide spending advice that their children can approve of. When the number is too large, parents can also help their children open an account at the bank, or temporarily keep it safely by the parents, but only if they have the consent of the child and respect their right to control the money.
