Confucius said, "Not cultivating morality, not studying, hearing righteousness but not following it, and not being able to correct mistakes and shortcomings are all things that I am worried about." ”

Zi Yue: "I am not born to know, good ancient, sensitive to the seeker." ”

Confucius said: "I am not born to understand knowledge, but I love the ancient culture and diligently and quickly seek knowledge." ”

The Son does not speak strangely, forcefully, chaotically, or divinely.

Confucius did not talk about weirdness, violence, chaos, ghosts.

Zi Yue: "If you are a threesome, you will have my teacher." Choose what is good and follow it, and change it from the bad. ”

Confucius said, "If many people go along, one of them must be my teacher." I choose his good aspects to learn from him, and when I see his bad aspects, I correct my shortcomings against myself. ”

Zi Yue: "Born to be virtuous in giving, how can Huan Yu give it?" ”

Confucius said, "Heaven has endowed me with virtue, but what can Huan Lu do to me?" ”

Zi Yue: "The second and third sons think of me as hidden?" I have nothing to hide! I have no way to do without the second and third sons, it is Qiu Ye. ”

Confucius said, "Disciples, do you think I have something to hide from you and have not taught you?" I have nothing to hide from teaching you. There is nothing I do not disclose to you, and this is what I am as a person. ”

The Son teaches in four ways: literature, deeds, faithfulness, and faith.

Confucius teaching has four contents: literature, conduct, loyalty, and faithfulness.

Zi Yue: "Saint, I shall not see it; Zi Yue: "Good man, I can't see it, but I have to see the constant." Death is for existence, emptiness is profit, covenant is for Thai, it is difficult to have eternity. ”

Confucius said, "It is impossible for a saint to see, and I can see a gentleman, and that is it." Confucius added, "I cannot see good people, but it is enough to see people who have consistently maintained good moral character." Such people who pretend to have nothing, who pretend to be full of emptiness, who are poor but pretend to be rich, are difficult to have perseverance in maintaining good character. ”

Confucius said, "I am sure of his progress, not his regression." Why go too far? If someone else embellishes his appearance and demands progress, he should approve of his approach, rather than always clinging to his past. ”

Zi Yue: "Ren is far away?" I want to be kind, and I want to be kind. ”

Confucius said, "Is ren far away from us?" If I want to do good for benevolence, then benevolence will naturally arrive. ”

Chen Sifu asked, "Zhao Gong knows about etiquette?" Confucius said, "Zhi Li." Zi Yue: "If it is holy and benevolent, how dare I?" Or if you are not tired of it, and if you are tireless, you can say that Yun Er has already done it. Gong Xihua said, "Zhengwei disciples can't learn." ”

Confucius said, "How dare I call me a saint and a benevolent man!" It is just that it is not satisfied to work hard in the direction of holiness and benevolence, and to teach others never to feel tired, it can be said. Gong Xihua said, "This is exactly what we disciples cannot learn." ”

Sub-disease, sub-road please pray. Zi Yue: "There are all kinds?" Zi Lu said, "Yes." The Book of Verses says, "Pray to the gods above and below." Zi Yue: "Qiu Zhi Pray for a long time." ”

Confucius was seriously ill, and Zilu prayed to the ghost god. Confucius said, "Is there such a thing?" Zilu said, "Yes." The text of the Book says, 'Pray for you to the gods of heaven and earth.' Confucius said, "I have been praying for a long time." ”

Zi Yue: "Luxury is not grandchildren, frugality is solid." Instead of not being sun-eyed, Ning Gu. ”

Confucius said, "When you are extravagant, you will be disobedient, and if you are thrifty, you will be shabby." Rather than being disobedient, it is better to be shabby.

Zi Yue: "Gentlemen are frank, and villains are long-standing." ”

Confucius said, "A gentleman is open-minded and calm, while a villain is preoccupied with gain and loss." ”

The son is gentle and fierce, mighty but not fierce, respectful and peaceful.
