The Sea Breeze Festival is Darwin's annual celebration of the city's dry season, with people from all walks of life actively taking part in the event. On the day of the event, the volunteer teachers of the Confucius Institute at Charles Darwin University showed the community traditional Chinese costumes, musical instruments, calligraphy and painting, dance, mahjong, and Tai Chi performances.

Yang Qimeng, a volunteer teacher from China, showed Chinese paintings to passers-by and invited everyone to experience the fun of painting. Mr. Wu Wendi's gourd silk performance "Phoenix Tail Bamboo in the Moonlight" attracted many passers-by to stop and admire, and expressed strong interest in Chinese musical instruments. Teacher Su Yunqi showed the Northeast folk dance, and the beautiful dance and the beach at sunset complemented each other.

Amy, Director of the Confucius Institute at Charles Darwin University, led the group to demonstrate Baduanjin Tai Chi, and the community members joined in and showed strong interest in the Tai Chi courses offered by the Confucius Institute.
