Besides Wu Song, who is the hero of the tiger fight in Chinese history? These people are unbelievable

Although tigers are protected animals of the state and cannot be harmed, the history of the mainland is still more respected by those who dare to fight tigers. For example, the well-known tiger hero Wu Song.

However, Wu Song is the artistic image of the literary work "Water Margin". There is really a person named Wu Song in history, but what he killed was not the "big worm" on the Jingyang Gang, but the corrupt official "Cai Hu" who was the evil side.

It may be because of this feat that Shi Nai'an portrayed Takematsu as a tiger-fighting hero. In fact, there are really a few people in history who dare to fight real tigers, and we may wish to see who they are.

First, not the marshal of the canopy

The one I want to talk about below, many people are easy to confuse, thinking that he is the marshal of the canopy. In fact, Bian Zhuang is called in the Taoist classic "Dao Fa Hui Yuan": Tiancang Zhenjun, which is not the same position as the marshal of the canopy in "Journey to the West".

The Tianpeng Zhenjun mentioned in the Dao Fa Hui Yuan is surnamed Bian Mingzhuang, who was born in the Zhou Dynasty, and Confucius called Bian Zhuangzi. He is a real figure in history, and he is also a real tiger.

At that time, he was the doctor of Lu Guo in the Spring and Autumn Period, and on the way, he saw two tigers fighting over a cow and wanted to "pull a fight".

Bian Zhuangzi's men said: "Now the tiger is fighting because of eating cattle, and the two tigers will die when they fight." When one tiger is dead and the other is injured, we'll go again. This way you earn the reputation for killing two tigers. ”

Bian Zhuangzi listened to it and felt that it made sense, so he waited patiently until the tiger ended the fight. The result was also a death, a serious injury, Bian Zhuangzi took a weapon to stab the wounded tiger to death, which can be described as killing two birds with one stone.

Second, the brave sub-road

In "Water Margin", Li Kui kills four tigers alone. This incident made everyone unable to believe it, saying: "Even Li Cunxiao and Zilu only fought one." This sentence shows that Li Cunxiao and Zilu are heroes who fight tigers.

However, Li Cunxiao's fight against the tiger is not recorded in the historical records, and the story of his beating the tiger was first recorded in the miscellaneous drama novels of the Yuan Dynasty. Later, this story was integrated into the "Biography of the History of the Five Dynasties of the Cruel Tang Dynasty".

The author of the book "The History of the Five Dynasties of the Tang Dynasty" is also very familiar to everyone, that is, the co-author of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and "Water Margin" - Luo Guanzhong.

As Luo Guanzhong's teacher, we have reason to believe that Shi Nai'an has read the "Biography of the History of the Five Dynasties of the Cruel Tang Dynasty", so it is also reasonable to learn some bridges from it.

Especially in "Water Margin", Wu Song was awakened by a tiger because he was sleeping on a stone because of drinking. The tiger took the lead in attacking, but did not pounce on the people, and was killed by Wu Song. This plot is almost exactly the same in the "Biography of the History of the Five Dynasties of the Tang Dynasty".

Since there is no accurate historical record of Li Cunxiao fighting the tiger, I will not expand on it here.

Next, we focus on sub-roads.

Zilu is one of the more representative students of Confucius, with only the names "Ten Philosophers of Confucius", "Twenty-Four Filial Pieties", "Seventy-two Sages of Confucius", etc., and the aforementioned Bian Zhuangzi is a fellow countryman.

He was the one who had served Confucius the longest among Confucian disciples, and at the same time he was the most troublesome. He is fleshy and straightforward, likes to stick feathers on his hat to play with might, and his sword shell is covered with wild boar spines to show his invincibility.

Although such a thorn head worshiped Confucius, at first it did not obey discipline and always created various problems for Confucius. It is no longer even offensive, and has repeatedly taken pride in bullying Confucius.

For example, Confucius took a few disciples to play in the mountains, and on the way, he was thirsty and asked Zilu to get some water to drink.

The sub-road to the river to get water happened to encounter a fierce tiger. We didn't see the whole fight, but from the result, Zilu was a character who was even fiercer than a tiger. Because he directly pulled out the tiger's tail, Wu Song couldn't do this, and Bian Zhuangzi, who stabbed the tiger with a weapon, couldn't do it.

Zilu came to Confucius triumphantly with the tiger's tail and asked, "What do you think it should be like for the world's first-class samurai to kill a tiger?" ”

Zilu thought that Confucius was going to praise himself a few words. Unexpectedly, Confucius said: "The samurai who kill the tiger are divided into three classes." The upper samurai can break the tiger's head, the medium can break the tiger's ear, and only the inferior samurai will pull the tiger's tail. ”

Zilu was very angry when he heard this answer, thinking that you Confucius knew that there were tigers at the water's edge and asked me to fetch water, which was clearly trying to harm my life. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became, and he picked up a large stone from the side of the road to murder Confucius.

However, in confucius's seemingly "last moments of life", Zilu also wanted to tease his teacher: "Teacher, how do you say that a superior samurai kills people?" ”

Confucius had already seen him carry a large stone into his arms and knew what he was going to do. Confucius replied without hesitation: "The superior samurai kills with a pen, and the medium samurai kills with a tongue." Only inferior samurai kill people with stones. ”

Zilu listened to the shame and embarrassment, and hurriedly took out the stone in his arms and threw it away.

From this story, we can see that Zilu did kill a tiger, and I am afraid that the combat effectiveness is far above that of several other tiger heroes. However, his personality is paranoid and too difficult to communicate. We can also see Confucius's temptation to follow the good example.

It was Confucius's good manners that made Zilu gradually convinced and finally became one of the most representative disciples.

In addition to Zilu, there is also a tiger fighting hero named Zhou Fu who cannot be ignored.

His story is well known to everyone, and he has also taken a language textbook. The dragon in the water and the tiger in the mountains are called the "Three Pests of Yixing" with him. After killing the dragon and the tiger, he repented and eventually became a useful person to society.

Third, finally

At present, among the characters who have clearly recorded in history and fought tigers, the more well-known are Zilu, Bian Zhuangzi and Zhou. Their tiger fighting stories not only show personal heroism, but also dig deep into some educational significance.

For example, Bian Zhuangzi adopted the suggestions of others, and Zilu and Zhou were all reformed and reshaped their lives because of fighting tigers. Perhaps this is one of the purposes of the ancients to praise the heroes of fighting tigers.
