It turns out that the land is their best guide. At any time, as long as Sun Wukong knocks the stick to the ground, the land obediently comes out to answer the question.
In addition to "packing inquiries", the sutra team also provides food and drink when needed, acts as a liaison, and so on.
But the strange thing is that every time Sun Wukong summons them with a stick, the Eight Precepts and the Sand Monk have never summoned them, what is going on?
Some people may say that the Eight Precepts and the Sand Monks do not need to summon the land, anyway, there is a monkey brother to do this. However, when there were three dozen white bone essences, Sun Wukong was taken back to the countryside of Huaguoshan by the Tang monks, and they were caught by the yellow robe monster because they were lost. If it wasn't for the White Dragon Horse urging the Eight Precepts to invite Brother Monkey back, the team would have dispersed that day.
Several times, in the process of searching for the demon, the Eight Precepts and the Sand Monk were caught by the monster because they did not have the guidance of the guide, and they were almost used as snacks on the table.
It is reasonable to say that the land is only the lowest level of gods, the eight precepts and the sand monks are good and the canopy marshals and roller blind generals, and the rank is not known how many times higher than them, but why does the land not listen to them?
There are three reasons for this:
First, the land is the most snobbish person in the journey to the west. Although the Eight Precepts and the Sand Monk were once high-ranking officials in the Heavenly Court, they were now people who had made mistakes, and the land certainly did not need to urinate on them anymore.
The second and eighth precepts and the sand monks were frightened by the heavenly court, and they did not dare to be arrogant in the face of the people who had been systematic, who knew what big guys stood behind them. Goku is different, as long as he does not obey, he will fight with the stick.
Third, when Guanyin went to Chang'an to look for the scripture taker, she specially ran to the Land Temple to make an explanation, so she dared to promise Goku that in times of crisis, he was allowed to call Him Tian Tianying and Earth Spirit.
Therefore, if the land does not listen to Goku, it will not only be beaten with a stick, but also offend Guanyin. The Eight Precepts and the Sand Monk are different, that is, they offend them, and they are not afraid to let go of a fart.
It can be seen that as long as you are not in position, a small security guard can also bully you! This journey to the west is actually about the sophistication of people in society!
