The Eight Commandments of the Pig are far from being a spy.

The performance of the Eight Commandments of the Pig in Journey to the West is very abnormal.

On the one hand, the Eight Precepts of the Pig often play a negative role in the sutra collection team;

On the other hand, he did not hesitate to support the great cause of learning from the scriptures at a critical moment.

The Eight Commandments of the Pig are far from being a spy.

(1) Espionage acts of the Eight Precepts of the Pig

It has been rumored that the Eight Precepts of the Pig were a Taoist spy who had infiltrated the Buddhist family. Such a statement is added to the Eight Precepts of the Pig, and it really cannot be said that the Eight Precepts of the Pig have been wronged. There is no way, the Eight Commandments of the Pig do have espionage behavior.

The Eight Commandments of the Pig are far from being a spy.

1. Destroy the scripture team

In Journey to the West, the Eight Precepts of the Pig repeatedly instigate the relationship between Sun Wukong and Tang Sanzang. The most widely known is the White Bone Essence. Sun Wukong defeated Lady White Bone three times, and each time the Eight Precepts of the Pig insisted that Sun Wukong killed a good person and provoked him in the middle.

The result of each provocation of the Eight Precepts of the Pig was that Tang Sanzang began to chant the Tightening Mantra. On the third occasion, Tang Sanzang simply wrote a derogatory letter and expelled Sun Wukong from the team of scripture collectors. After Sun Wukong beat Lady White Bone to death for the third time, the Eight Precepts of the Pig said:

How to forbid the eight precepts next to the instigation: "Master, his hands are heavy and fierce, beating people to death, only to be afraid that you will read that work, deliberately change this appearance, and cover your eyes and ears!" Tang Monk's ears were indeed soft, and he believed him again, and began to repeat it (the tightening mantra).

This is only one of three provocations. In the end, at the instigation of the Eight Precepts of the Pig, Tang Monk finally decided to drive Sun Wukong away. Therefore, the Eight Precepts of the Pig have the behavior of destroying the Sutra Collection Team.

2. Ventilate the enemy

In the Pingdingshan chapter, the Eight Precepts of the Pig are really a message to the youkai.

In the thirty-fourth episode of Journey to the West, Pig Eight Precepts and Sand Monk and others are captured, Sun Wukong becomes the mother of the Demon King, and when he enters the cave house of the monster, the Eight Precepts of the Pig reveals Sun Wukong's identity in time:

But he said that the eight precepts of the pig were hanging on the beam, and he laughed a little. Sha Monk said, "Second brother, good, hang out laughing!" The Eight Precepts said, "Brother, I have a reason for laughing." The monk said, "What?" The Eight Precepts said, "We are only afraid that if Grandma comes, we will steam and eat, it turns out that it is not Grandma, it is the old saying that it is coming." The monk said, "What old saying?" The Eight Commandments laughed and said, "Bow Ma Wen is here." ”...... Oh, just for the sake of a nerdy's word of affection, he walked the wind of the monkey king's change.

Subsequently, after Sun Wukong was caught, he turned into a fake Sun Wukong tied up there, and the Eight Precepts of the Pig also immediately reported to the King of the Golden and Silver Horns:

[Sun Wukong] took off, pulled out a hair, called to change into a fake body, tied there, but the real body was disguised, changed into a small demon, standing next to it. The Eight Commandments shouted again on the beam, "Not good! Not good! The fake of the bolt is hanging on the right body!" ...... The walker said, "The change of old Sun is only for you, how did you steal the wind breath?" "The goblins in this hole can't be recognized, so how can you recognize them?"

This was already the second time that the Eight Commandments of the Pig had sent a message to the youkai at Pingding Mountain. The first time Sun Wukong didn't say anything, and the second time, Sun Wukong couldn't help but complain, his change was also to save you, how do you always give the enemy a message?

As far as the various behaviors of the Eight Precepts of the Pig are concerned, it is not an exaggeration to say that he is a spy.

3. Tried to murder Sun Wukong

In the original work, the Eight Commandments of the Pig not only undermine the unity of the organization and inform the enemy, but also tried to murder Sun Wukong, the core figure of the team!

In the Tongtian River, pig eight precepts, after hearing that Sun Wukong could not water, once tried to drown Sun Wukong:

The idiot wanted to tease the walker, and the walker randomly plucked a hair, turned into a fake, and crouched on the back of the eight precepts, making a pig lice next to him, clinging to his ear. The Eight Precepts were in the right direction, and suddenly they hit a heel, and the old son threw the walker forward and fell down. It turned out that the fake body was originally hairless, but it floated up and disappeared without a trace. Sha Monk said, "Second brother, what do you mean?" It was not easy to walk, so I fell into the mud, and I just stopped, but I didn't know where my big brother fell! ”

When he heard that Sun Wukong could not swim, the Pig Eight Precepts deliberately fell and threw him into the water; then, in the face of the sand monk's questioning, the reply of the Pig Eight Precepts showed that he intended to kill his fellow monks:

The Eight Precepts said, "The monkey couldn't help but fall, and as soon as he fell, he fell." Brother, don't care if he lives or dies, I will go with you to find the Master. ”

When he learned that Sun Wukong needed to avoid the water to go into the water, Pig Eight Commandments offered to carry Sun Wukong into the water. In the water, the Eight Precepts of the Pig suddenly attacked and threw Sun Wukong into the water. It is reasonable to say that Brother Monkey does not know water, and he is not in a hurry to save him. However, in the face of Sha Monk's questioning, pig eight precepts said, regardless of whether he lives or dies, let's go back!

This is clearly a deliberate attempt to kill Sun Wukong!

4. Abandon your teammates and escape alone

In the Kui Timber Wolf chapter, when the Eight Precepts of the Pig and the Sand Monk join forces to fight the Kui Timber Wolf, the Eight Precepts of the Pig abandon the Sand Monk and run away on their own.

The idiot said, "Sha Monk, you have come up and fought with him, and let the old pig out of the way." He couldn't care less about the sand monk, and as soon as he slipped into the artemisia grass and the thorny kudzu vine, he didn't distinguish between good and evil, and when he entered it, the tube scratched his scalp, poked his mouth and face, and fell asleep, never daring to come out again. But he kept half of his ears and listened to the sound. When the strange eight precepts were gone, he ran to the sand monk. The sand monk was caught off guard, grabbed by the monster, and lived in the cave, and the little demon tied the sand monk's hooves.

In the process of the fierce battle between the two people, the Pig Eight Commandments not only ran away without two greetings, but after running, they did not consider how to save people, but lay down in the grass to sleep. This kind of behavior is definitely not what a person who is bent on learning the scriptures should do.

However, even with so many acts, the Eight Commandments of the Pig are not a pure spy. While destroying the sutra, the eight precepts of the pig also substantially support the act of sutra taking.

The Eight Commandments of the Pig are far from being a spy.

(2) The Eight Precepts of the Pig are actually in support of sutra learning

The above four things can be taken out casually, and it can be determined that the Eight Precepts of the Pig are a spy. However, the Eight Commandments of the Pig are still not a pure spy.

Why? Because the Eight Precepts once saved Sun Wukong during a critical period.

In the Fire Cloud Cave chapter, Sun Wukong is almost burned to death by the Red Child's Samadhi Fire. At this time, Sun Wukong is "attacking the heart with fire, and the three souls are out of the house." Poor qi plugged chest mouthpiece cold, soul flying scattered and crippled! Because the fire was so bad, Sun Wukong jumped into the water, and as a result, Brother Monkey "curled up on all fours and couldn't stretch out, and his body was as cold as ice." According to the words of the sha monk, "If you are cold all over your body, there is a little heat, how can you come back to life?" ”

If the Eight Precepts of the Pig are really a thorough spy, then Sun Wukong's burning to death is definitely a beneficial and harmless thing. But the problem was that at this time, the Eight Precepts of the Pig were helpless in the case of the sand monk and Tang Sanzang was a waste, so he took the initiative to rescue Brother Monkey!

The Eight Precepts rub his hands together and pestle his seven tips, which is a massage Zen method. It turned out that the walker was forced by cold water, and the air blocked Dantian and could not make a sound. But fortunately, thanks to the eight precepts of massage and rubbing, between the whiskers, the breath through the three levels, turned to the Ming Hall, rushed open the hole, and shouted: "Master! ”

It is worth noting that if the Eight Precepts of the Pig were really spies of the Taoists who broke into the Buddhist family, they should not be so blatant as to inform the Daoists and instigate contradictions within the team, right?

What is even more strange is that such an arrogant "spy", the Buddhist family even let him join the team of sutra collection and went all the way to the Spirit Mountain, is such a "spy" also relaxed?

The Eight Commandments of the Pig are far from being a spy.

So I don't think the Eight Commandments of the Pig could have been a spy. Behind his abnormal behavior, there is a deeper thinking and reason. That is, the abnormal behavior behind the Eight Precepts of the Pig is a matter of his master's position and position.

In the last issue, "The Master of the Eight Precepts of the Pig, Who is it?" We argue that the master of the Eight Precepts of the Pig is the Emperor of Donghua. So, what does the abnormal behavior of the Eight Precepts of the Pig have to do with the Emperor of Donghua?

In the next issue, we will continue to analyze.
