"Journey to the West" is broad and profound, many details are worth recalling, there is a question that I don't know if everyone has considered, that is, on the way to the scriptures, why Sun Wukong does not use the fixed body method, in fact, the Buddha told us the answer when he suppressed Sun Wukong. Due to the word limit of the title, the original meaning of the one-pot porridge expression is that the monkey does not have to use the fixed method to deal with the demon king.

In fact, the fixation method is still very very useful, I think that when Sun Wukong was casting the fixation method to set the seven fairies for a week, he withdrew to go to the peach feast, the ancient week is now a day and a night, if the monkey uses this kind of god on the way to take the scriptures, then it is very simple to take the scriptures, see the demon king to a fixation method, there is no difficulty, Tang Monk can continue to travel west, so the difficulty of taking the scriptures will not be greatly reduced?
However, on the way to learn the scriptures, Sun Wukong at most used the fixed body to live the little demon, but he had never used it against the demon king, so why didn't he use such a good magic power? Obviously, it wasn't because Sun Wukong was stupid, and he found that the Fixation Method against the powerful Demon King didn't work at all, so why did he say that? Everyone still remembers the fight between Rulai and Sun Wukong, the two sides bet, if Sun Wukong wins, Rulai will give up the position of lord of the three realms to Sun Wukong, in fact, Rulai is a winner in hand, did not put the monkey in his eyes at all, according to Rulai's position in the heavenly court, he is only one of the five elders of the five parties, and he has no right to decide who the position of the lord of the three realms belongs to.
Of course, Rulai also lied this time, he promised that after Sun Wukong lost, he would not do anything to the monkeys, and the result was to press Sun Wukong under the Five Elements Mountain, as for the situation of Rulai Buddha lying, we only need to look at the original book to understand:
I will make a bet with you; if you have the ability to fight in the palm of my right hand, if you win, and no longer need to use your swords to fight hard, then ask the Jade Emperor to live in the West and let you in the Heavenly Palace; if you can't beat the palm, you will still be a demon in the netherworld, and you will repair a few more disasters, but come to quarrel.

Obviously, Sun Wukong did lose, but Rulai not only did not let him cultivate in the netherworld, but instead suppressed him under the Five Elements Mountain. So what does this have to do with Sun Wukong's method of fixation? Yes, everyone just saw that Rulai lightly used the Five Elements Mountain to suppress Sun Wukong, but with a Five Elements Mountain alone, he could not help our monkey brother, soon he drilled out of the mountain, the next step is to get out of trouble, here a pot of porridge to say two more sentences, such as the Buddha's pocket obviously has the six-word mantra post, why not immediately paste, but wait for the picket officer to report that the monkey is about to get out of trouble, he ordered someone to post it?
Before a pot of porridge specially wrote an article to explain, interested can go to see, here is a new understanding, everyone imagines, Sun Wukong is covered by the whole mountain, if he can't show his head, how can Tang Monk see him, and how to save him? So the Buddha had to wait for the monkeys to emerge from the mountains before he could order someone to post them. Well, let's continue, when Sun Wukong drilled out, a six-character mantra post was posted on the top of the mountain, suppressing the monkey for 500 years, and a small post could imprison the miraculous Qi Tian Dasheng for 500 years.
The reason is very simple, this post is posted, contains the powerful mana of Rulai, if we also write these six words posted on the top of the mountain, it must not be able to suppress the monkey for so many years. In fact, there is also an introduction in the original work, but everyone does not care, the book is like this:
Sun Wukong, Ru because of the big disturbance in the Heavenly Palace, I with a very deep mana, pressed under the Five Elements Mountain, fortunately the natural disaster is satisfied, returned to the teachings, and like Ru to hide evil and promote good, on the way to refine the devil and descend the monster meritoriously, all the end, the promotion of the great post is the right result, Ru for the fight to defeat the Buddha.

A hundred miles, why the powerful skill has such an effect, is because this skill contains the user's powerful mana, the fixation method is the same, according to Sun Wukong's mana, can fix the low mana of the seven fairies a week, if you change to taishang Laojun to use, may be able to set a year, but also need to see the victim's mana, the seven fairies skill is low, so the monkey can set a week, replaced by the Buddha, the monkey can not be fixed.
Therefore, on the way to learn the scriptures, Sun Wukong only used the fixation method to fix the little demon, and never dared to determine the demon king, because the demon kings have strong mana, and the monkeys will most likely humiliate themselves by using the fixation method. So of course he won't use it.
