The reason why Sun Wukong rebelled against the Heavenly Palace was because he had no official, and Pan Tao would feast on the Five Elders of the Five Directions and the Five Dou Xingjun, the Eight Caves and Three Qings, the Four Emperors, the Taiyi Heavenly Immortals, and so on, but did not invite him. Rulai is one of the five elders of the five parties.
The fairy said, "The Upper Council has its own old rules." Please are the Western Heavenly Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhat, South Antarctic Guanyin, Eastern Chong'en Saint Emperor, Ten Continents and Three Islands Immortal, Northern Arctic Xuanling, Central Yellow Pole Yellow Horn Great Immortal, this is the Five Directions and Five Elders. ”
So, how much power did the Jade Emperor really have? Jiang Zi believes that the Jade Emperor is recognized as the supreme of the Three Realms, whether it is the Celestial Realm, the Human World, or the Nether Realm, all of which are under the management of the Jade Emperor.
If this is the case, why does the Western Buddha dare to take the Ling Xiao Treasure Hall as a bet with Sun Wukong? Are the Five Elders of the Five Directions a courtier of the Jade Emperor?
The Buddha said, "I'll make a bet with you; If you have the ability to fight in the palm of my right hand, if you win, and then you don't have to use your swords to fight hard, then ask the Jade Emperor to live in the West and let you in the Heavenly Palace; If you can't beat the palm of your hand, you will still be a demon in the netherworld, and you will repair a few more disasters, but you will quarrel. The Great Sage heard this and said urgently, "Even if you say so, can you do what you can do?" The Buddha said, "Done! Done!"
According to the sayings of the Three Qing Dynasty and the Four Emperors and Five Elders, whether the Jade Emperor, who belonged to one of the Four Emperors, was indeed higher in status than the Five Elders.
However, the rules of the Journey to the West world are like this: the Buddha's Path and the Three Realms each have the dignity to rule the world, and the dignity who governs the world holds the actual power, but the cultivation is not necessarily the highest.
In the story of "Journey to the West", Taishang Laojun is the Taoist ruler, the Jade Emperor is the ruler of the Three Realms, and the pre-Buddhist ruler is the Buddha of the East, and after the AnTian Assembly is the Buddha of the West.
In the story of "Journey to the West", the Jade Emperor is indeed the Lord of the Three Realms, but the person who becomes a Buddha and is not born and does not perish, it is already "beyond the Three Realms, not in the Five Elements", it is Sun Wukong who seeks the way to immortality, for this is also the case, you see he was taken to the Nether Realm, what did he say unconvinced?
Goku said, "Since Ru and others have ascended to the throne, they are spiritual induction and the like, so why don't they know what to do?" My old grandson cultivated the Immortal Dao, lived with heaven, transcended beyond the Three Realms, and jumped out of the Five Elements, why did people detain me?"
Let's look at the origin of the six-eared macaque, the Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South China Sea asked for instructions on the zhoutian type, what did the Buddha of the Western Heavens say?
Ru Lai said, "There are five immortals within the zhou heavens, who are gods and ghosts of heaven and earth; There are five insects, which are scaly feathers. This is neither heaven nor earth, nor god, nor man, nor ghost, nor is it scale, nor is it hairy, nor is it feathered, nor is it kun. There are also four monkeys mixed, not into the ten categories. ”
The reason why it is difficult for the Western Heavens to take the scriptures is because the Tang monks are all cloudy bones of their parents, not beyond the three realms, and seen in the five elements, while Rulai and Guanyin are obviously already outside the three realms of super ascension and are not under the control of the Jade Emperor.
Finally, let's talk about an urban legend: Chang'e running to the moon is flying, the moon is the sky in the ancient population, the Jade Emperor and other people are aliens, to be precise, the little gray people. The little grey man seems to be a god in the eyes of human beings, and the true body of a human being is actually a Buddha, the heart is the Buddha, the Buddha is the heart, the Dharma is boundless, far from what the little grey man can afford to offend, but human beings are dusted by the five aggregates and six consciousnesses, forgetting their true face.
